I think it is cool that the UK is supporting stem cell research instead of taking the US approach that saving lives is not worth the effort.
I predict that in ten years the major centers for bio-research will be in the UK and the corresponding industry in the US will have a major brain drain of scientists fleeing to work in the UK.
