This morning my best friend's sister was hungry and was going to walk to McDonalds before school...Her mom told her to get back over to the bus stop..(I am 16 she is about 15 and is perfectly capable to walk to McDonalds). Then the mom got out of the car (it was raining so she had let them sit in the car) and when Tamika (my friends sister) wouldn't get in the car, she started hitting her hard over and over. Then my best friend, Hannah, called Tamika a baby for crying. What can I do when I am around this. It made me uncomfortable so I took out my cell and started texting to get my mind off of what was going on.

Thats all you can do, unless you knew the deepth of what happen just stay out of it, its hard enough on those that know the deepth, and knew what most be said. So you did fine, its not fair when people do this, but its a consequence of a deep social problem thats sort of beyond your answer, but lets just say you did the best you could... you might of been able to say something, but done wrong and you'd be on her mothers ***** list, and said right, you would of made a grown-up feel bad, which is ackward and strange to feel in its own right, but I'm use to that ;-)
