My birthday is in August and my birthstone is a Peridot...which is a lite green stone....now ya know...

My birthday is in August and all I know is the color of my birthstone not the name of it. It is sort of like a light green color. I like it. I think March has a pretty birthstone though.

Like Desperate Heart, mine is April, diamond and I really dislike diamonds though my husband loves them. I would rather, and do have, several authentic Indian turquoise jewelry. that drives my jeweler/school classmate crazy and he owns a gorgeous jewelry store-BUT NO TURQUOISE! bummer.
