thought of never seeing my Dad again (he died 6 years ago) is overwhelming. I love the "thought" of heaven and that he is there waiting on us, but if there is a God, would it be a sin for me to start going to church not believing in him? If there is a heaven, I want to make it there to see my Dad (and my kids some day). I don't disrespect people that believe in God, I just have a hard time believing in something that I can't see. Please don't use the "well you can't see air, but you know it's there" because of course I know it's there...I'm breathing! But if I wanted to attend church and treat it like a school type learning process to see if I can be convienced...is that wrong? Is it wrong for me to say "Ok God...Convience me" If it matters, I'm 39 years old. (sometimes age matters to me on questions)
