I was watching CBS' game show where you guess how Americans voted in a poll. The question was 'Do you think the world would be a better place if America ruled it?'

Only 19% in the poll said yes. How sad. 81% of Americans polled obviously do not have a favorable opinion of America.

That question does NOT ask if you think America should invade another country. It doesn't suggest forcing ideas/democracy on other countries. It simply asks if America was in charge of the world, would it be a better place. And apparently 81% of those polled think America's government is worse than those who stone you to death for an opinion, or murder women for being outside without a male relative at her side, etc. This is where all the Bush bashing has gotten us. How sad.

i have recently discovered a hard lump above my left eye,(kinda in the right corner)
it is not a zit for sure
there is no bump on my skin
just under it
it hurts when i apply pressure towards it
it fells like it is on my bone
it is under my left eyebrow
what is it?

I have a nes sex partner. We had sex this weekend. I couldn't really get into it because his mustache felt like it was giving me brush burns. Since then my "cookie" has been sore and dry. I want to make sure it doesn't happen again. How do I tell him it hurt, without being harsh?

How is it that Barrack Obama, who could possibly be elected our next President, is allowed to run for office after admitting to Cocaine use, but I can't get a job with the FBI or Secret Service because I smoked marijuana more than ten times in my life? I have been clean for over ten years while in the military too... WTF..?

for which i have 5 years parole. my brother is out since january and cannot find any job. he was a kid when he did the crime and is now a man who truly rehabilitated. (not a violent crime). please if anyone knows any thing about this please give information. i am afraid he will be so depressed soon.

I have a son, the result of a one night -stand, very mutual...The mother didn't contact me to tell me she was even pregnant, I imagine she just wants my money now, since I got a paternity test order through child support div. But I actually do want to be a part of his life. He is 9 mo already and I haven't ever seen him. I have only known about him for a couple of months now. I have no contact info on the mother anymore. Okay, so I have agreed to pay child support, but how about some kind of visitation. I have no money for an atterney, so how do I file a petition for visitation through the court myself? Like where do I find the forms, or do I have to have a lawyer to do this? Not what is best, but by law, can I petition myself? Could I hand write one and have it notarized? And don't judge me, I already have two kids who I am fully involved with, my kids mean everything to me, it shouldn't matter how they were concieved!

I used to LOVE milk... I would drink gallons a week! Then one day I snapped and haven't drank any milk for like 4 years!

Ever since I turned 18, everything has gone to hell and it all has to do with my older sister. I used to live with her, and in turn for me being able to stay, I watched her kids. Welln I went to go visit some of my friends one day who lived about an hour and a half away. I then got a phone call from one of my family members who also lived in the area saying that my sister did not want me to come back-as in ever. So with that being said-where was I supposed to stay? I asked my (who I thought were caring adoptive parents) if I counld stay with them until I could find myself an apartment. Their answer? No. So I asked some of my friends if I could spend the night at their house every now and then. Their answer? Sure-but only when it was convenient for them as well(which was absolutely fine by me). Most of the time tho-I spent living out of my car (in my parents driveway). I recieved an email later, from my sister, saying how shes enjoying laughing in my face because of how miserable I am.

So what is the bonus to being a Christian other than attaining heaven at the end? Why is it you have to just 'believe' that God is good, when around you screams that He isn't?

I see the devil having power over us, if satan can go to God and petition Him to attack us, why is it we can't go to God to petition Him to say no? So who has greater power then? If God gives satan the power to do us wrong, where does the power lie? Its not with us then......

If God allows free will to rein on earth and then allows those people to use their free will as they see fit, then God has no control over free will? If God has power over free will, then He would use His Power to actually protect His children from satan instead of giving satan the go ahead to whomp us.

I realize God doesn't create evil. However He creates those that will be evil, knowing full well the catastrocities they will cause.

this question is so easy yet hard, i know how to do it but it doest look right.

you are taking part in a charity walk a thon where u can either walk or run. you walk at four kilometers per hour and run at 8 kilometers per hour. the walkathon last 3 hours. money is raised based on the total distance you t ravel in the three hours. ur sponsors donate 15 dollars for every kilometer u travel. write an expression that gives the total amount of money u raise. evaluate the expression if u walk for two hours and run for one

I'm not very social but want to meet someone. For various reasons, there are places I refuse to go looking for someone and places I've given up on.

Bars - I don't drink and don't want to meet people who do.

Clubs - I HATE dancing!

Party - I don't drink, dance, and am not a social butterfly.

Sports events/functions

Church/Religious functions - I'm not religious.

Volunteer/Community events - I don't/won't volunteer.

College/School related functions - I'm out of school and won't go back. Most girls are back in school so I won't meet them at my usual hang outs and I don't want to get involved with a girl who will be a world away 9 months a year.

Places I frequent or have tried meeting girls are:

Mall/Stores: The girls who show are always in groups or with a BF/GF.

On-line - It's expensive, competitive, and unrewarding.

Work: I hate pursuing girls I work with. It always turns out badly, and they are often the girls I don't want to meet (why I avoid places).

I am 17, I have one older brother (19)(he's ok most of the time, but he plays to many video games.) one younger sister (7) and one worthless disgraceful rotten brat excuse for a brother who is 14. I am sick of having to be the parent to my younger siblings. they fight like cats and dogs and 90% of the time it is the brats fault. my mom and dad are both college professors who don't have a lot of time at home, so I have to deal with most things on my own. when my dad does get involved (usually after days and days of my trying to deal with the brat) he gets so angry that he almost pushes himself to another heart attack (he had one last thanksgiving). and mom avoids dealing with the brat altogether. he will not do his chores (the ONLY chores he has are the dishes, laundry, and his feeding the dog). he will not obey any one and he lies about everything. I don't know what to do any more!!
