I am a renter and I cannot paint or put up anything that will damage the walls, but I do want to cover some of the white walls. I have looked at "Wall Pops" the prepositional squares but they are so expensive so I was hoping someone had some ideas. I head if you soak fabric in water and corn starch it will stick and come off fine, but has anyone tried it?

We don't vote, we don't thumbs up or down, we barely answer questions. Is it because we are such non-interactive people that we enjoy TV or is it the TV that makes us such non-interactive people?

I have been dating this guy for a little over a month now, and we had a GREAT weekend together this last weekend. We were talking though Sun night, and I brought up the fact that he doesn't call me as much as he used to, and that he didn't seem as interested (hindsight, probably shouldn't have said anything, but it had been bugging me) and that I just wanted to make sure I wasn't a booty call. He pretty much went cold and told me that he wasn't ready for a relationship, and if that was what I wanted then we need to part our ways. My question, though is - if you are dating someone, isn't that considered a "relationship" - I don't know if I even want something long term or anything yet with this guy, I wasn't even asking him to be exclusive. I was going to call him tonight and talk more, as we have been sending some emails back and forth, and now it sounds like he just wants to "be friends". Should I just move on, try to be friends with him, or try to find out where he is coming from?

"The study estimates that 50% of non-Christian adults in the U.S. view Atheism as having an negative impact on society. Fewer than half that percentage viewed Islam and Buddhism negatively. Among born-again Christians, this level of rejection reached 92% -- much higher than for any religious belief system other than Atheism."

Recently married and already having communication problems. This is what we have endured:
1. I spent 3.5 weeks in the hospital with a major illness/surgery right before we got married. I got out and we got married 1.5 weeks later.
2.Our wedding weekend his best friend was here and he hasn't seen him since jan. the whole weekend was about him and his friend instead of about me and him and our wedding. I had to throw a fit just to be able to get a hotel room and spend our wedding nite alone.
3. We didn't get to take a honeymoon...money and my health. so he goes back to work and is miserable. doesn't interact with me and when he does it is fussing and moaning about work.
4. his dad shows up...he has never been around. and now my husband wants to spend every waking moment with him...he even quit his job and dad was one of the reasons why.
I told my husband that he should spend time with his dad but he shouldn't forget about everything/one else.what do i do should i expect from him

BBQ melted the siding before I bought the home. I can't contact the previous owner (it was a foreclosure and empty for a year).

Is there a manufacturer's number or information on the siding panels somewhere?

OR, should I 'borrow' a strip of siding from another more hidden area of the house and then replace that strip with a substitute (that might not match exactly).

Can I buy just one or two pieces of siding, or will I need to buy a whole box?

I thought there were no strings attached to free speech. It was pointed out to me in a different question that I have asked, and was told say whatever you want, there are no strings on free speech.

If there are hate speech laws, and you can get in trouble for yelling fire in a crowded theatre, then YES there are limitations on free speech.

Your take?

I was fine with them staying with us for a short time or heck even being there when he's home. They now have a key and my roommate is completely ignoring my requests that they vacate. I live in Portland, Oregon. I believe Oregon allows individuals who are not on the lease just 6 weeks to stay if they have no intention of getting on the lease. Any info is much appreciated.

My grandmother has an older model mercury sable. The car drags 5-6 revolutions before finally starting. It has been doing this for couple of weeks, so don't think its the alternator or battery. Belt squeaks, especially at idle, bad bearing in one of the pulleys or what?

If it was narrowed down to where you had two candidates, one had less experience but had limited skeletons in the closet, or the other who had loads of experience but was also loaded with scandals and skeletons, which would you choose? Honesty or experience?

I have gone through the 12 steps, but have not attended any AA Meetings in quite a few months. I have found that through God and only God that I have been able to stay sober without very much help from others. I think that it is my williningness to try my best as I understand God's will and my desire to get close to Him that has cured me of the desire to drink and use drugs. (I have 15 months of sobriety in two days).

Has anyone had any similiar experiences? What do you think?

On my wedding invitations, how do I refer to our parents?

My dad is a doctor and my parents are married so is it Dr. and Mrs. John Smith? or Dr. and Mrs. John and Mary Smith?

On the "son of" part underneath my fiance's name, are his parents (still married) referred to as Mr. and Mrs. or by their first names? Is it "Son of Mr. and Mrs. John Smith" or "Son of John and Mary Smith"?

Satan called a worldwide convention of demons. In his opening address
he said, "We can't keep Muslims from going to Mosque."
"We can't keep them from reading their Quran and knowing the truth."
"We can't even keep them from forming an intimate relationship with their Allah and his messenger Muhammad(pbuh)."
"Once they gain that connection with Allah, our power over them is
broken.""So let them go to their Mosques; let them have their covered dish dinners,BUT steal their time, so they don't have time to develop a relationship with Allah and his messenger Muhammad(pbuh)."

*"This is what I want you to do," said the devil:*
"Distract them from gaining hold of their Allah and maintaining that
vitalconnection throughout their day!"*"How shall we do this?" his demonsshouted. *
*"Keep them busy in the non-essentials of life and invent *
*innumerable schemes to occupy their minds," he answered. *
*"Tempt them to spend, spend, spend,
