My Cajun friend had 3 good

arguments that Jesus was a Cajun:

1. He liked to serve fish to his friends.

2. He could make his own wine.

3. He wasn't afraid of water.

My Black friend had 3 good arguments that Jesus was Black:

1. He called everyone "brother."

2. He liked Gospel.

3. He couldn't get a fair trial.

My Italian friend gave his 3 equally good arguments

that Jesus was Italian:

1. He talked with his hands.

2. He had wine with every meal.

3. He used olive oil.

My California friend also had 3 equally good

arguments that Jesus was a Californian:

1. He never cut his hair.

2. He walked around barefoot all the time.

3. He started a new religion.

My Irish friend then gave his 3 equally good

arguments that Jesus was Irish:

1. He never got married.

2. He was always telling stories.

3. He loved green pastures.

But, my women friends have the most compelling

evidence that Jesus was a woman:

1. He fed a crowd at a moment's notice when there

was no food.

2. He kept trying to get a message across to a

bunch of men who just didn't get it.

3. And, even when he was dead, he had to get

up because there was more work to do.

I took Chemistry about a year ago. I reviewing some topics for AP Chem, but have forgotten some things like ionic charge. For example:

If you use http://www.webelements.com/ as a guide, I know that Group 1 will a charge of +1, Group 2 would be +2, Group 13 would be +3, Group 15 would be -3, Group 16 would be -2, and Group 17 would be -1.

What would Group 14 be and is there a way to determine the charge in Groups 3 to 12, such as Ag (Silver).

I love Chemistry, but man I forgot so much stuff!!

Hello there: this question concerns my cat, Casper, or Dr Hamley-Cunningham as he prefers to be called.

The good Doctor has recently taken a liking to fine literature and regularly sits in my favourite armchair by the fire of an evening, smoking a meershaum of fine cherry tobacco and enjoying a snifter of brandy. He likes to wear my smoking jacket, which looks quite ridiculous as, being a cat, he needs two more sleeves to effectively accomodate all of his limbs.

He has also started borrowing my car without prior consent and has, on more than one occassion, threatened me with part-exchanging it for a scratching post unless I feed him caviar instead of Felix. Apparently the gentleman's club does not look kindly upon members with unkept claws.

Whilst I can handle his unruly behaviour (he is awfully polite to my mother), he insists on reading because it is part of the image of the aristocratic class, rather than an educational tool; what can I do to convince him otherwise?

Frankly, there must be a considerable amount of intervention and contarian influence for someone to overcome the bias that permeates their every media and educational message since early childhood...the rank and file of mainstream institutions such as CNN, The New York Times, the BBC, National Public Radio, The Washington Post, Harvard University, Yale University, the entire "Ivy League", most state and private universities/colleges and public elementary and high schools have all admitted that they are predominantly cloisters of propaganda and indoctrination in the liberal agenda, and overwhelmingly beholden to the Democrat party.

Fox News has been shown to have a miniscule amount of conservative bias, compared to the heavy-left bias of the rest of the media.

How can one not consider his/her worldview to be somewhat distorted and perverted by Marxism when realizing all the above? Unless one makes a deliberate effort to seek alternative sources of info (talk radio, etc.)...

Why do they call the Bill Clinton's presidency "8 years of hell" when Bill disarmed Saddam without firing a single shot, won in Yugoslavia with a REAL international coalition, Had a REAL economic boom and had a $10 TRILLION surplus, and gasoline was .89 a gallon?

The funny thing is all the spying and Patriot Act thing that Bush created is about to be used AGAINST them when a MOTIVATED Bill Clinton uses it to investigate Oil Corp and Bush/Chaney collusion to start the Iraq war based on lies for high oil profits.

What goes around comes around.

I guess anyone who calls that hell is a war profiteer or an oil corp flunky. They sure ain't rational or normal.
