every sunday, we have our ROTC classes,. i am an 4th class officer,. since i am a lower class, i should not have relationship with my co officers especially my to my higher classes,. but in my case, im very close with our assistant commandant,. he always tell jokes when our class is dismissed, he always making jokes with me, and always telling me something about him, i dunno if he is just a happy person thats why he's telling me all that,. I admit it, he is attractive and i feel comfortable when we are talking,. he always look straight to my eyes like he want to tell me something,. and everytime he had achance, he want me to sing a song coz he want to hear my voice but i dont know why,. I know this is wrong but i cant help it,. what do you think? please answer,.

in christianity, there are sects. i only know about nine of them, even though i know there are many more. but the nine i know are....
1)Roman catholic
2)orthodox
3)lutheran
4)calvinist
5)anabaptist
6) anglican
7)presbyterian
8)methodist
9)protestant

now correct me if i am wrong, but Lutheran, calvinist, prebyterian, and the methodist sects are a part of the protestant branch? yes? No?

now, why are there so many sects within this religion? i think there was a split somewhere...right? and i think they call it the Protestant Reformation, or the Radical reformation, or was it the Catholic reformation? (or are they all the same thing?) but how/why/when did they all separate? what things separated into what things? are different sects more "related" than to other sects? (if that makes sense)
let me point out that it is still summer for me and i have not begun school yet......

I am a scientific, logical person who believes in the Big Bang theory and Evolution(atheist). But I do not understand how some Christians, given the huge about of evidence against creation, can still believe in it.
For example, the universe is definitely expanding (as proven by red-shift) and if you work back through time the obvious start of the expansion is the Big Bang. I can understand how some Christians say the Big Bang was started by God, their guess is as good as any. But to totally ignore the huge amount of evidence about the creation of the universe, our solar system and the creation of the Earth and to say that the whole universe was created fully formed by God(or deity to your choice) is total madness. It simply does not make sense to totally believe in a book written thousands of years ago before the invention of logical science.
Please explain to me how people can still totally believe in the Bible, even though the evidence of science is massively against its claims.
