God did not create cancer. He created perfect humans who later rebelled and brought sin & death upon mankind.
FYI: Not all that long ago, I lost my kid brother and my mother within less than a year of each other to cancer. My brother was only 26 years old and died of pancreatic cancer. I know from slow, painful deaths. Not once did I blame God for bringing that on him. I do keep the hope held out by Jesus at John 5:28, 29 very dear to me.

God did not "create" cancer. I wonder why all of the bad things that are happening in the world are being blamed on God. When something good happens God does not get any credit from people of the world who claim that they don't even believe in God. Yet when something bad happens the same God they claim that they don't believe in gets the blame. He either exists or he does not. You can't make him exist when something bad happens but says that He does not exist at other times. If you have heard of God then you have heard of Satan....why don't you put the blame of Cancer on the one that it truly belongs to Satan. The bible says that, "Satan comes to kill, to steal and to destroy". Jesus said, "I have come that you may have life and that you would have it more abundantly". Stop blaming God for Satan's doing.

A fire or electricity is almighty it can create it can kill, no sentimentality. Creator too is adjectieless, so there is no question of his being good or bad, just as I am single & have crippling Parkinson problem so what-whom to blame? And why live in world of blaming or praising.
The image of god in major religion is just a juvenile fantasy of mythical Father; to fill up the role our mortal father played when we were babies. A consolation trick or socil hypnosis. If you manage to reach at very centre you will experience a utter emptiness even sense of "I" is almost lost giving a very scary deathlike feeling combined an unexplainable euphoria as if under some narcotic, those rare brave ones who can cope up with this become enlightened. Carefully observe
> Hindu Vedas & Yoga call this state turiya, which means fourth state-no adjective added. Because it is choiceleness consciousness.
>Buddhism calls it Nirvana, blowing up of candle, because in this state mind goes silent chatterless, reason why it creates scary deathlike experience- where the feeling of "Iness" goes dead. NB: Some mystics get nervous breakdown by the shock, reason why presence of Guru is given due importance in East
> Krishna says you are me, I am the everything= observe the characteristic absence of I-You differentiation
>Christ said, you can enter my garden of EDEN only with innocence of a baby. Please note baby is in utter bliss & it has no mind because it knows not any language.
Why crises are needed? Otherwise people hibernate in their comfort zones and sleep walk through their life like zombies.
Again please note Buddha himself never uttered the word god in his sermons nor Patanjali's Yoga. Scocked? it sounds as if they are all Atheist.
No, Atheists' are reacting negatively to God just as Theist react positively to God, True ones are plain indifferent.

Good question, my answer would be that it is a learning experience. Meaning that scientists will try to figure out a cure which leads them to other things such as better pain medications etc... Though some will suffer millions may not because of the knowledge gained from the experience and the challenge of finding the cure.
It teaches us about survival and how to overcome. How does that sound?

The "creator" did not purposely administer cancer.
Cancer is a process of evolution.
Ask any scientist that studies. Evolution is a process that changes the cells/dna structures over time.
Many diseases related to dna and genetic profiles are categorically evolution. No one said evolution was always good.

I'm familiar with that ... if you watch the one with cancer as they endure the suffering of the disease, think of it all as laboring. Laboring the same as giving birth. This is the true meaning of being born into the spirit. Blessed are they who endure till the end, for they shall see God.
