You need to set a certain time to do your homework. If it is 6 pm, then no matter what you get busy and do your work, then you know you can get back on the Internet. Sure it won't be as much fun, but years down the road you will be happy you set some rules for your self. It's all about self discipline, some thing no one else can do but you. Hope you get all A's after this.

One way is to see how VERY important home work or studying is! I am 48 years old and have worked almoat 30 years as a janitor. I have to clean floors, toilets etc all day. My pay is very low even after all these years. I live in a 3 room apt while most of my relatives and family members have moved on, and live in nice homes of their own. The reason I am like this: I started going fishing, watching tv, playing old atari video games, etc instead of doing my homework and studying in school, it started making my grades fall. In time, it got to where I was failing all the time, I finaly graduated from school by the hair of my teeth, but was dumb. I lost all desire to be much of anything, and started working as a janitor back in 1978, and today I still am. For God's sake - do all the homework you can and study to learn as much as possible while your still in school. I wish the heck I did !

Just do it. More than a Nike commercial, a way of life. Discipline yourself to do the things you have to do before you reward yourself with chatting, blogging or myspace fun. This is part of becoming an adult.

gosh the internet can be so addictive, im like you thats all i want to do is go straight to it, i just had to stop and say im only gonna be on here if i have nothing at all to do and stick to it, also if you keep it turned off while your studing or busy youll be more less likely to be tempted to go over and get online, i keep mine off of the day, alot of people lets them stay on all the time, hope this helped alittle, have a great labor day!

make your self more determined to do your work, or reward your self with somthing, like if you study for 2 hours and finish your homework you can watch tv and go on the computer.

I wish I could stop procrastinating and being lazy also.

I suggest you take some classes in gaining motivational skills.
