I write myself. And I find everything I tend to write about, is pretty dark and has a negative outlook on life, humanity and human nature. And a lot of other writers do the same thing. A LOT! Or the one's I've read anyway. I always feel this need to show case the worst side of humanity in my writing. Its almost oddly-comforting to vent. Some would call me cynical about life and have. I'd probably have to agree. But what is it about writing and darkness that go hand and hand together?

I'm absolutely terrified of ticks because my dog got bitten by one. And I love camping. But every time I go camping, I get so scared of the ticks in the campsite that I don't have any fun. What's the best way to keep ticks off of me and my puppy?

I dont really know which system to get because first of all I already got an ipod video so i dont need any videos, music and pictures but I' really into the shooter games like grand theft auto, ghost recon games, sports, and action but im pretty much broke and I dont wanna spend $200 on a psp when I can spend $140 on a DS but the only games I would like on it is Sims, some puzzle games, and some shooter games if there is any on it. I'm a US Citizen with a US Passport but I was adopted by American parents, which is how I gained my US Naturalization and whatever. But I was born in Honduras, and have been trying to find some information online about dual citizenship and a way to obtain it with Honduars and the US, so I could have 2 passports and gain a piece of myself back. But I have not been able to find a single thing about it, online. I've checked every government website...googled...everything. So any information about this would be greatly apperciated! Thanks!

Okay, well this is kinda a stupid question but oh well. I start high school as a freshmen tomorrow and I have to walk to school. No one initiates people at my highschool any more because if they do they get 3 months detention. but now im thinking, what I get initiated on my way to/from school? like off school grounds, do you think this would happen? and could the person still get in trouble if they did? idk maybe im just being paranoid lol.

Went and saw Death Sentence this weekend. First off I was shocked with the reviews this movie is getting it is just being Slaughtered on rotten tomato (16% approval rating) people going as far as calling it “An old-school exploitation picture” (which makes me wonder if they have ever seen an exploitation picture in there life) So not expecting much I went and saw it with my hubby and my parents and WOW this movie was really good. The acting was good, the story line was good, and it was believable (well as believable as any movie can be). The whole movie revolves around this family and this gang there is a lot of character development so much so both me and my mom were in tears towards the end of the film (we had become that emotionally attached towards the characters). There’s not a lot of filler and no pointless why are they there characters. Even though my mom and I were sobbing like little kids the movie had a good amount of blood and gore (flying body parts always make for a good movie) and despite the slow character developing beginning the end is very high action and kept my husband on the edge of his seat. There is a lot of deep seeded morals to this story (not in your face enough to spoil the movie but if you care to read between the lines they are there) my dad came up with the best moral for this movie “Don’t piss off the guy in the suit”. All and All I Loved this movie and so did my Family and maybe 4 people can’t over come the hundreds of bad reviews but I say give this movie a chance you might like it, you might not, heck you might cry like a little baby like my mom and I did, heck if your squeamish (not desensitized to gore like me) you might just throw up.

Its a Western Digital, Im not sure which kind. I really don't know. I got it about a year and a half ago.

I can hear it spinning. It hook up the usb cord to my computer and i turn it on, i have 4 different usb places to plug a usb cord into. I tried all four and it still doesnt work. I know theres nothing wrong with the places to plug the usb cord in, but im not sure why its not working.

I plug it into every place and it doesnt work.
I can hear the spinning inside of the external hardrive.
