Is east long beach, ca part of south bay? Is the belmont hights district part of south bay?

Belmont Heights is a neighborhood in Long Beach. But Long Beach is not part of the South Bay region.
Long Beach is considered a "Gateway City". It is west of the South Bay region. "South Bay" is the peninsula in southwest Los Angeles County.

I have lived in the South Bay for 50 years. NO, Long Beach is not in the South Bay. The South Bay is: On the north...Inglewood, Westchester area. On the west..Playa del Rey, El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, and around the curve thru the Palos Verdes Peninsula to San Pedro, then up the east side thru Wilmington, Carson, Gardena, Harbor City, Lomita, and in the middle...Hawthorne, Lawndale.and Torrance

No to both, South Bay, as I have always understood it is south Santa Monica Bay. Usually considered to be from Redondo Beach up to Manhattan Beach, more or less. But there is no formal definition of this area. Your spots are in San Pedro Bay....

i dont think so the south bay is like all the way by redondo hermosa torrance carsonharbor city palos verdes.. etc
