If we are in fact in the last days, shouldn't churches be stressing the book of revelation so that people could be aware of what's going to soon come to past?

Just curious.

Some churches are, while others say "Jesus said we shouldn't worry ourselves over the end of times so we don't preach about it during church services."

because the churches teach the doctrines and traditions of men and they worship the beast. When was the last time a church has preached the entire Semon on the Mound, or preach about Matthew 23. The "Bread" is not rituals or a wafer served with wine or grape juice, the True bread is the actual Words spoken by Jesus, this is what feed the spirit

At this time we are at Revelation 8:5 and Revelation 17:17 all before these verses have already happened. To fulfill the Age the next president (10th king) of the U.S. shall fall and the 8th pope (8 king) shall come with power. 1960 is the starting point for this count.

We are in the last days? You do realize that Christians, at least the ignorant ones, have been saying that for over 20 centuries now right?

John was writing revaluations, pulling from previous religious archetypes he thought Christians of the time would understand, as a message. People like you are still to this day interpreting it with amazing stupidity. Not to mention while imprisoned on Patmos he was without sentinent stimulus for some time, conditions that in fact often lead to temporary hallucinations, audio and visual, in even the most mentally healthy person.

Because the leaders of the churches DO NOT KNOW WHAT IT MEANS.

"The Apostle John was alive when Jesus Christ was upon the earth. Carrying a lamp as he journeyed with Jesus in a darkened land, John filled it with the oil he received from this natural vine. For hundreds of years, he covered his lamp as he lived among the earth’s inhabitants. Like a golden candlestick on which a flame still burns after hundreds of years, John’s lamp remains lit. It would light the world, if it were not hidden among a group of writings accepted by the masses as a source of all truth. It has become known as the book of Revelation. His lamp is unable to give its light and warmth because of the dark robes and dark suits worn by the religious leaders who stand in front of it, keeping the people from seeing its light."

...modern organized religions have corrupted the words of Christ, and therefore do not understand the true meaning of his gospel. [Organized religions have] little to do with emanating the true gospel of Jesus Christ as taught by John and the others who knew him personally."

Hello,

If you see revelation in its context, it sure seems that the end of the world and divine retribution was supposed to be in the first century. The Roman Emperor Domitian was persecuting the Christians as the book was being written and to many he was the Anti-Chirst and Rome was the beast with 7 heads (hills). It has not happened and we are still waitng after 2000 years.

Cheers,

Michael Kelly

Blame the false prophets in the catholic cult, and Rick Warren, who have a list of false teachings about Revelation.

Revelation promises a blessing to those who read it and teach it. Most "christians" aren't true Christians and don't know anything.

Most Christians are still working on the basics. The churches should be spending their time creating DISCIPLES, not just sunday christians. The time is short enough. We don't need to waste time telling people what they're going to find out anyway.

Well, actually, it shouldn't be preached at all. There were many, many different Apacolipse stories at the time when the Roman Catholic leaders were getting together the 'Holy Canon". Many said this book was garbage, and rejected it. But, in the end, we now have a book with a beginning, middle and end.

Sad, isn't it.

The last days refers to the end of the age of Pieces (the fish). We are entering the age of Aquarius.

He sent two of his disciples and told them, "Go into the city. You will meet a man carrying a jug of water. Follow him"

Aquarius-Water Carrier

Ask yourself why a man would be carrying water, is that not usually a womans job during this era?

How do you know that "we are in fact in the last days"? People have been saying this same crap for hundreds of years. Revelations makes no sense at all, its like reading a Nostrodomus book.
