None really, the founding Fathers came from a situation in Europe or actually remembered the lessons of the involvment of The Church in politics in the Middle Ages, The founding of the Church of England, teh Domination of the Pope and the influence of Catholocism, The Reformation in Germany, The Inquisition in Spain and France. These were things that they identified as problems that they addressed when writing the Constitution and recognized that a Theocracy or a government beholden to a Religion were the last thing they wanted in America.
