I played all woodwind instruments for a while now (8 years) and now I want to teach myself to play keyboard. Any suggestions? I used to play a little when I was in middle school. And I purchased a new keyboard about 2 years ago but stop playing it when I graduated from high school.

Is my Greta a Belgian Sheepdog?

I think she is 5 or 6 months old. (She doesn't have all her premolars, yet.)

It is hot here in central Texas so keep in mind this is her summer coat.

And any tips for raising her (if she is a Belgian Shepherd) would be appreciated.

We have bonded strongly. She's now my baby & I am gah gah over her!

Why do you think God made the Moon?

He could have made the tides move on their own, so what is the symbolism of having a Moon? Light in a dark place? Even when it is dark, there is still a reflection of the Son?

evolutionists, i need you to explain one of your theories to me(the big bang)?

ive been wondering this for awhile,it was 1st pointed out in my mid.teens-not directly to me tho;
you believe that the big bang caused everything to expand & shoot off into space,&when they finally settled into their positions as we know them today,they started spinning around on their axis.(if thats not exactly how your belief goes,then its BASICALLY that)
im wondering;how do you come up w/ the theory that they started spinning after being shot out all over the place if things that are shot out,dont go spinning around?
examples are;you pop a balloon but the pieces dont spin around after being shot out-& i doubt they would start if they didnt land anywhere.OR,your throw a ball but it doesnt start spinning anywhere-i know it also lands as well as the balloon pieces.but how 'bout this?may be an even better example;you knock a puck across the ice,but when it gets to its destination, it doesnt start spinning, it just slows, then stops.
could ya tell me how ya got the spinning idea?

An Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies from a DETC accredited school... Is DETC accreditation worthless?

An attorney I work for knew I was searching for an online/correspondence course in paralegal studies. I'm already a paralegal and only want to further my education.

The attorney highly praised The Paralegal Institute, Inc. out of Phoenix, AZ. I see that this school is accredited by DETC (Distance Education and Training Council). ( http://www.theparalegalinstitute.edu ).

I checked out the school and their accreditor is legit --- recognized by the US Department of Education and Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

Sadly, however, I'm reading mixed reviews about DETC accreditation. Many websites praise it, while others say it's worthless. I don't know what to think cuz everythings 50/50!

I know that regional accreditation would be better, however, my only question is: Are degrees accredited by DETC worthless?

Thank you very much for your input.

P.S.: I know my employer approves of it.... but if I leave here, I want to make sure the degree isn't worthless.

My internet explorer always opens in a new window whenever I type in a new URL!?

How do I revert it back to normal? And since, for example, my homepage is www.yahoo.com. Then I want to get to... www.xanga.com. The internet will open in a new page, and hang, thus, i will never be able to get to it. I can, however, get to different pages by using the Yahoo search engine.

What do I do?

Was it this man's place/position to do this to me?

A few times in school (college), I'd write funny stuff on the blackboards in our Spanish classes, & the professors would come in & make more jokes about it & correct my sentences. I was trying to practice my Spanish here. So I tried it in one class, & this man (another student) yelled at me, cursed me out, & threatened me because he was afraid I was going to get the whole class in trouble & cause the professor to get upset & make him not graduate. He was unnecessarily paranoid. The professor wasn't even worried about what I did. I didn't write anything bad.

***& when I told my counselor about it, she told me that I should never ever again in my life write on blackboards because of his reaction. He overreacted, & why should I do what he says if he was graduating? I'll never see him again. Now what if I were to become a teacher/professor? I can't write on blackboards anymore because of what HE & my counselor say?
