I remember seeing it as a kid...it was about electronical stuff going nuts because of a solar flare or something.....at the end of the movie these diesel trucks had this boy and other people surrounded in a gas station.

It was called "Maximum Overdrive" starring Emilio Estevez. The soundtrack to the movie was performed by AC/DC.
