Start Studying Psychology (William James)and soon you will see that there not evil, just stupid, no just kidding, just people who have really bad problems, and when the so called evil people come around, they will leave you alone because you will see them in a different way, not as evil but as a human being. Most of these people just need real friends.

First of all, I understand why you can see things this way. I feel you. But there's another angle to see your Life.
Here's my advice to you : : : :
Be the leader in your OWN Life experience and you'll see that NOBODY can defeat you. You can only defeat yourself, by believing that others have power over you. Ponder that.
There are those in the driver's seat, living their life fully...and then
there are those in the passenger seat, spending precious time TALKING about those in the driver's seat! ;-)
Which do YOU choose, my friend?
*Take your attention OFF of what others are doing and focus on YOU and what YOU want to be and experience in YOUR Life. When you do this, you will see GREAT CHANGES.
Some people will disappear and some new ones will come in. Don't worry...
Just allow it all to BE and always be True to Yourself.

That was Sun Tzu in the Art of War. What it means is, instead of attacking the enemy, improve yourself, until you have become strong. Then, when the enemy gives opporitunity (be patient), attack with all force. Any mercy to your true enemy is wasted. If he will not show you any, show him none. "The enemy who runs will one day return to fight." Vegetius. Of course, unless you're talking about killing for vengeance. Then don't. Never ever kill an innocent civilian. That's called terrorism.
Liberty and justice. The only reason we should ever imprison somebody is if they harm another. That's what justice is. Punishment for imposing will.

All any one person can do is keep opposing evil. Do your best to defeat evil. Why? Because evil can only succeed if the good to not oppose it. If you fail to oppose it, you become it.

If you never stop fighting you are not a defeated one.
Just keep working at it and you will feel stronger and stronger the longer you endure, till you see your enemy giving up.

as the first answer suggests. your thinking in being defeated is causing you to be defeated. you are already defeated in your mind when the battle begins, whatever that battle may be.
