I have 4 bloodfin tetras, 4 serpae tetras, a blue gourami, a spotted cory, and an african drawf frog. The tetras aren't schooling like they did in the pet store. The frog doesn't look like it's gonna make it. The bloodfins seem to be gasping (but since I only got them today, I don't know if this is normal). And there is something clinging to the side of my tank which I think is displaced eggs, but I'm not sure. Also, though everything I can find on these species say that they are peaceful fish and would be ok mixed in this fashion, they seem to be aggressive towards each other. They aren't nipping, but they are chasing. Thank you in advance for any comments you may have. Brandi

My dad's an alcoholic and when he drinks he is a completely different person...he is really mean. He's been like this my whole life..so my mom divorced him because he gets out of control and now sometimes I'm home alone with him and when he's drunk he always finds something to fight about..he targets who ever he's around. I also think he is depressed...well actually i know he's depressed and I feel bad for him sometimes..but most of the time I get really mad. I love him so much and I know he loves me too..he just acts completely different when he drinks. He knows he has a problem but he doesn't really do anything about it. I don't know how to talk to him about it..I never have..I'm afraid.. I don't know ..what do you think? I just don't want to grow up and be one of those people who never really had a father figure..I feel like I'll regret never doign anything about it..btw I'm 15.

I live in an apartment building and neighbor smokes. The smoke gets into my son's room and, despite installing an air filter designed for smoke particles it still seeps in and smells. i can't tell them to stop smoking - it's their home - it's their right.

Is there anyway you know of that i can rectify the situation for the benefit of my young son's health? Can I demand improvements be made to the walls? Do I have any rights as to what carcinogens get into my home?

I have heard that 85% ethanol is only 72% as energy efficient as regular unleaded but I can't find a source that tells how efficient 10% ethanol blend is. Let me know where you found the answer.

Every few months I get a really large lump in my best breast. It is very painful and lasts usually a few days to a week. I have been to a doctor in the past and he says I suffer from some kind of cyst in my milk ducts. But he never gave me any ideas on what to do about it. Has this ever happened to you? Do you have any advise for me on this?

Its almost daily that the A comes to my roommate for notes. She'll knock in the morning and wake me up too when i don't want to.And usually its me who has to open the door.She comes inside the room all the time for taking something or the other. It irritates me. Today when she knocked i told her don't come banging on my door daily and what her reply was- its not only your room its her's too. When i said i have a problem then she was like you never enter my room then. I said ok. And now i'm in a fight with one more person. And yes my roommate was sleeping then. When she got up i told her. She takes the notes and gives it to her as if nothing happened. Isn't she a ***** too?She just wants good relation with others. And its me who she tells that the other one has spoiled her notes and behaves normal to them. I hate her i hate everyone i hate to live.

right now, i'm a size 14/16, sometimes even 18 if the size runs to small, and i wanna be a size 8, but how can i do it fast, and safe? i really wanna stick to this but i dont know where to start. i never end up sticking to my diets and sometimes it feels as if i could never possibly lose any weight at all! i have lost a little, but i wanna go to the extreme this time, tomorrow were going to the store to get food lol how surprising right? haha yea and i dont know what to get for lunch at school or for breakfast any ideas on how to lose weight, keep it off, and eat right so i can get that special someone to finally notice me?? please help!

I want to do a purse with special things on it, and no one has it anywhere (and sorry don't want to give it out for fear of copycat) and was wondering do I HAVE to HAVE a patent, and license. It would be a purse for making life easiter and convenient. No special names, or trademarks or logos necessary.

How is your experience in letting your child be awake to fall alseep in the crib and not you rocking him/her?

My son does a great job at falling asleep. He will coo for a min or two, then lay there with his eyes open and then fall sleep in a few. I just walk away and peek to check on him.

I just cannot seem to get ahead of the game and am swimming in debt. I took out a loan which helped with some and even tried debt consoildation but couldn't afford the monthly payment. I'm thinking of withdrawing money from my IRA (not sure if some or all at this point) to pay off some debt). Is this a good idea? What are the reasons for early withdrawl without penalty?

I wanna get my ears pierced soon and I want to know if it is (safe) ok to change the earrings (the ones the piercer uses to pierce my ears) straight away and leave the new ones in for the 4-6 weeks?

One of my friends did that and he didn't experience any problems with it.
