i have to write a story, about a situation or moment that's ALSO a universal truth. i'm in 8th grade, but i'm in a 9th grade class. so i need somewhere around that range of knowledge. i mean i'll do research and stuff, but i want it to be a good story for the people in my class, since i'll be reading it out loud. so yeah, any ideas ? thanks in advance.

Status. As an 8th grader in a classroom of mostly 9th graders, do you assume the role of the least important? Do the older students treat you with less respect or someone less worthy?
Why do some men treat women as less worthy?
Why do some white people treat people of color as less worthy?
Why do some rich people treat people of modest means as less worthy? And so on.
Are these feelings of superiority valid?
Why does any group minimalize another? What benefit is there for the group, whether the reason is gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual preference, education, financial, political, age based, or any other arbitrary reason?
How should/could the marginlized group respond?
