I'm a guy (male) that was pretty much peer pressured into playing a form of strip poker. Only strip to underwear though. We're all 18+. There was one girl, and that was my friend's girlfriend. Sounds VERY crazy, but I probably would not have wanted to play even if more girls came to play. Everyone but me really wanted me to play the game. I wasn't really comfortable playing this at all. They called me a wuss for not wanting to play. They said pretty much that these are the type of things all college guys always want to do. A guy already at college said it's pretty much true. My concern isn't really that I shouldn't have been peer pressured into this. I'm just wondering if all guys are really like this, and what do girls see in these type of guys? Am I supposed to be more open in talking about sexual things? Would girls see me as boring? If they like these kinds of guys, why would they? I really don't want to sound like a pervert all the time.

I moved to America and went to Catholic schools in my early years here. I hated the people, and I thought all Americans were detestable like them. Gradually, I started doing activities outside of school and I went to college, where I discovered normal, nice people! I don't know what was wrong with the people I went to Catholic school with. They seemed like they were very cliquey, racist, mean, closed-minded and isolated. Almost everyone I run into that goes to the local public schools or other private schools HATES the people at the Catholic school I went to. It's not that they're rich preps, I hear that group of people talk crap about the Catholic school kids.

I went to Catholic schools in two states, and the people were idiots both places. I'm not generalizing, but what's the deal? Is it because a lot of them are Irish?

I feel really, um, I guess, betrayed by my family. Been working for about 3 mo.s at a night job w/crummy hours, trying to adjust to that. Family's been really good about letting me sleep - a lot, more than I'd like to- feel like I'm neglecting them. But--they don't seem to notice. Makes me feel like I'm not needed. And..I get 1 wkend a mo. off. For Sept., they gave me this one (just Sat & Sun). That's it for next 30 days, don't even get two days in a row off the rest of month. So tonight, I wanted to have a little family time, listen to music(my thing), play some games, whatever. Instead--they go rent movies. They know I don't like to sit and watch movies. They have every weekend this mo. to do that, but they go do it on my wkend off. I wound up sitting on the back porch by myself, bored, unable to even get on puter cause daughter and friend were on it. I know, I'm wallowing in self pity. That's why I took my pic off -- I need anonimity right now.

It seems that very religious people already have a built-in meaning for their lives that their religion and belief in god provides. While it may be possible, I don't know of any super religious atheists, and it would seem that the "search for meaning" would be harder for them.

This isn't an attack on atheists nor do I doubt that there are atheists that lead fulfilling and happy lives.

Help please! I have never taken care of cats before. I rescued two kittens from the rubbish bin that were approx 4 days old. I feed them kitten formula in small amounts every three hours or so. Amazingly they are still alive and growing fast. The vet says they are healthy but very small. Any suggestions on how and when I should switch to babycat nibbles? Someone recommended Royal Canin?? Do I mix them with the milk, or go straight to water? If you can, please tell me how to make this change. They are now three weeks old. When's a good time to start? Thanks - Trying to be a good mother cat!

Someone I know has epilepsy, we're not sure if it's hereditary or if they got it from falling suddenly and hard into a ditch when he was young. About twice every year, he gets petit mal seizures. He takes dilantin, but is there a natural cure that will help him to maybe get rid of his epilepsy?

We are going to London the latter part of November - it is near birthdays and Christmas (didn't think about that) - so I need accommodations on a budget. My children are 14 and 15 so alot of places they are considered an adult. Any ideas? I would like to stay around $75/night if possible.

I just got a dvd recorder/vcr combo deal today. Now I am not the best when it comes to this stuff though!
It asks for recording mode (ep, lp, sp, etc). Can I put this into any mode I want, or does it have to be the same mode as the dvd-rw I bought? The length of time is extended when this record mode is changed, and the dvd-rw I bought says its sp and 2 hrs. I want to record a 4 hr movie, so can I put it into the mode that shows 4 hrs on the dvd recorder and have it record the whole movie or am I limited to 2 hrs of record time no matter what?
Also, I am recording from my Directv DVR to the dvd recorder. If I turn the volume down on my tv set while I am recording, when I playback the recording will the audio turn down in the recording? And what if I turn my tv off altogether but have the DTV DVR and dvd recorder power on? Will it still record? My cabling goes from the DTV DVR to the dvd recorder and then to the tv.
