I'm a guy (male) that was pretty much peer pressured into playing a form of strip poker. Only strip to underwear though. We're all 18+. There was one girl, and that was my friend's girlfriend. Sounds VERY crazy, but I probably would not have wanted to play even if more girls came to play. Everyone but me really wanted me to play the game. I wasn't really comfortable playing this at all. They called me a wuss for not wanting to play. They said pretty much that these are the type of things all college guys always want to do. A guy already at college said it's pretty much true. My concern isn't really that I shouldn't have been peer pressured into this. I'm just wondering if all guys are really like this, and what do girls see in these type of guys? Am I supposed to be more open in talking about sexual things? Would girls see me as boring? If they like these kinds of guys, why would they? I really don't want to sound like a pervert all the time.

The fact is, the guys wanted to see the girl naked. It doesn't matter if it was just one girl and she doesn't even have to be that pretty.
On the other hand it was a turn-on for the girl to think all the guys would be looking at her.
It's all about teasing and sexual teasing.
If that's not your interest, don't hang around with them. However, if you are trying to control yourself so you will act and behave how a girl would want you to behave, it's not good for you.
Instead follow your own instincts and what you like and exciting to you. Just don't go over the line and you will find a girl that is a perfect match for you.
You will always be a better fit with someone that shares the same views as you on appropriateness. It doesn't matter if she likes hanging from a tree naked or being covered from head to toe in wool... it's about having the same views as her.

I can't speak for the girls your age but from an older woman's perspective..and just MY own opinion..no, you're not crazy or a wuss for having not wanted to participate. I wished you would have had more balls tho to stand up for yourself because NOT all guys have to be perverts and act so childish so your friends are wrong about that. Why was someone's girlfriend stripping in front of other guys??? Nice.
Not all girls would have found you to be a wuss and personally, I would have chosen the one who didn't participate...show's he's got morals and actually has pride in himself and doesn't care what the "cool" kids are doing, lol.
You can be open and upfront about sexual things, i.e. talking about it, w/o having to participate or do things that make you uncomfy but it's really only about what you feel is right for you. If you're not comfortable about talking openly or publically about it then don't...it's really noone elses concern and if ppl make it their business tell em off, lol. Works for me.
You're going to find a lot more things like this popping up on campus. This is just the tip of the iceberg so if you don't figure out who you are or what you're made of, chances are you're going to find yourself in a lot more situations like this one.
College is about experiencing new things tho but it doesn't mean you have to go over the edge either. Do what feels right for you and only you, have fun but be careful.

Well for one, you didn't really have to hang with em, in the first place. I mean you could have always gone home and left them there. As for what girls see in types of guys like that? Well its more than obvious that those kind of chicks are the ones that do all those drinking games and crap and wind up raped at parties. I mean they think those guys are fun and all this and that. Which I'm sure is true, in a darker sense of things. But I say its their behinds if something unwarranted goes down. And sex stuff every now and then isn't so bad, I mean I talk about sex quite often, but not like in a perverted way or anything. Someone ask what I like and I tell em, and even some of my other thoughts about sex. But its really nothing gross, its pretty intellectual conversation. And no some girls would not see you as boring. As of right now I find you pretty interesting for not playing strip poker. It means you surely have more respect for yourself than that. I'm not against strip poker at all its just that I know I'm not so good with card games so it would suck very badly if I lost. But its part of life like that. I say go where you feel comfortable and can be you. Don't worry about mindless girls and guys that don't really do anything but drink and play games that are beneathy you. I say its time to broaden your horizons and friends.

I did once, in my youthful, desperately insecure days. I'm a little ashamed of such trashy episodes now at nineteen. I cannot believe it as I am quite the lady in these present times. I cannot speak now, as I simply would not play it now but I was wilder then and a girl willign to play strip poker knows what the game entails and cannot get angry for her decisions

we experiment when we are young. not all guys are like the others as you know as you are not that way. It could be for any number of reasons but that is your choice. as far as the girls and what they like the same applies they are not all the same and again its about trying new and exiting things. maybe you would rather play with one girl. I would just look for the girl that you are suited too. you have the rest of your life to play games. we all play these games and I started at a very young age. its about exploring you sexuality. just look at it as a game and some fun and move on to what you are seeking in life. you will look back one day and say I am glad I did that stuff because I am married now with kids and I feel no need to play these adult games that others play.

just b'coz you didnt want to play strip poker they call you boring? let me ask you, do you know how to play poker? coz if not, maybe thats the reason why you dont wanna play strip poker coz you might lose all your clothes when playing. hey college isnt all about sexual things, strip poker is just a way of entertainment. some girls think that if a guy is a go-go for strip poker it means he's confident and girls like confident guys. but then again, other girls dont like those kind of guys b'coz they only do it to fit in or to prove they're cool.
