I keep hearing on tv 2 blocks away , a few blocks away etc
Well how far is it yards meters miles ???

My wife was driving my old Dodge ES Turbo convertible, (1986, with 50K miles), she parked it on a slope and turned off the engine.

She started up to leave and the car will not get into gear. I tried to pull it inot gear but no luck. It is an automatic.

What is wrong???? And can I fix it???

Is it in need of transmission fluid? I know little about cars.

since the majority here screaming about wearing hijab and that the hijabless girls are responsible for raping other girls .. and that hijab is fard and it is more important now than the Five Pillars of Islam !! i just want to know how many of u went to hajj the fifth direct Pillar of Islam .....and how many of u knows meqdar el zakah ( Zakah portion).
i think kefaya she3arat ... guys am not against Hijab bas am against those who judge the appearance of the person ..they r really narrow minded and shallow .

The class I am in right now is mixed with the BC calculus and the teacher wants the AB kids to learn BC stuff as well. The problem is if I learn both I'm afraid I might fail the class because just doing AB seems easier. Should I just take calculus in high school or learn it in college? Will this make me look bad? I work for a bank delivering shares to the NY stock exchange. There are 2 other people who do the recieves. One of the guys who does the recieves is transfering to another department soon, and my boss wants me to take over his position. This is probablly the worst, most stress-filled job in the company (hence why the guy is transfering departments, he's only been doing it 8 months and he wants out). On a scale of 1 to 10, deliveries is a 3. Recieves is an 8, 9 on a bad day. I by no means want this job. The amount of email alone is enough to drown you.

Is there a way to decline the job, without looking bad, not a team player, or lazy?

Can I decline because they aren't gonna give me a raise?

One of the biggest problems for me personally though, I would have to work earlier and later.

I think I'm going to have to take the position though. How can I turn this around? How would I get a HUGE raise for doing it (like at least 3k more a year)? Or some other fringe benefits

so i randomly met this guy at college and he's really cool. we've been hanging out a lot since then but he keeps wanting to do stuff together. he sent me a message talking about how "i've got him crazy and it's only been 2 days." i told him that i'm not looking for a serious relationship for the time being but i do enjoy his company. so now he's always texting me asking to do stuff. i feel like he's rushing it...like it's cool to hang out sometimes but not everyday...just to keep things fresh. i don't think he'd start stalking me but all this hanging out is new to me. advice?

I'm starting a teaching job at a small private school (in 5 days!!). I have 3 small children, so the schedule would be great. HOWEVER I just got called to get drug tested for the Post Office, which pays good, and I'd start out PTF (part-time flexible). The pay is almost double what I'd make at school! What to do???? Is God gonna be mad at me if I quit my job at a Christian school (which I've barely started??)

my house was built in 1998 it has a central ac unit. just about 2 days ago i had the fan on and there was continuous noise coming from inside the furnace, it souded like an old blower problem. then when i swith from fan to cool there was no noise only at the end when the cooling interval was shutting off, and the same noise occured. today my ac unit is not working at all what could be the problem. all i can think of is a motor by the blower fan, if it carries one. all other help welcome.

I know im still very early in my pregnancy (only being 5 weeks) but im very excited already. I have always known for a girl i wanted her to have the middle name Grace or Lillie (lilly) dont know how to spell it yet, and for a boy to be ollie for his middle name but can think of first names to go with it.
Does anyone have any ideas?
