They will be lucky to get 5 wins.

Some guy said Notre Dame would be 12-0 because of the easy schedule
i said
What are you smoking kid. Notre Dame is overated and underperform on the Daily.
Now Notre Dame puts up an 8-4 season and lose the important games like agains the Pac-10 and Michigan they will still have a chance at a BCS bowl. They are overated

Notre Dame will not crack the top 15 by the end of this year.
They will probably get to the top five after they beat Michigan but they will lose 3-4 games after that point and will end up in the bottom half of the top 25.
Their schedule is brutal.

It's not going to happen. I'd like to see Notre Dame have a winning season, but it will take a miracle for them to make the Top 5. They have lost too many good players and will be breaking in a new quarterback. Their schedule is simply too tough (games listed in order):
Georgia Tech (difficult)
Penn St (very difficult)
Michigan (very difficult)
Michigan St (difficult, MSU wants revenge)
Purdue (could win)
UCLA (difficult)
Boston College (could win)
USC (impossible)
Navy (should win)
Air Force (should win)
Duke (should win)
Stanford (should win)
Notre Dame will probably win its last four games, but it's quite possible those will be its only wins. Charlie Weis is a genius if he can get 8 wins out of that schedule after losing Brady Quinn and Darius Walker.

No it's a rebuilding year.
Notre Dame is on tv every week because they have a contract with NBC to play their home games. And most away games are on ABC. It's not like with ESPN and the Yankees, where, there's no contract, but they still put them on every week.

Not a chance. New QB. They lost a lot of starters. Cracking the top 25 will be a challenge. If they do that Weiss is one heck of a coach.

One of the toughest schedules in the land, cracking the top 25 would be a feat. Then again, that's what everybody said two years ago, so who knows?

do they have a football team?
They will get the ball when it's their turn. I don't know why the tv network has to broadcast Notre Dame football every saturday. There are actually people out here who don't like Notre Dame.

6-6 or 7-5. They lose to Michigan, Penn State, UCLA, and USC, as well as one or two of Georgia Tech/Michigan State/Purdue/Boston College.

Not after the Georgia Tech debacle...I think its about time the Jimmy Clausen era begins...He was efficient when he was in...
Enough with the QB charade, Charlie...If you value your job, Jimmy starts next week...
