I have downloaded some films from morpheus which work completly fine on my pc but i want to be able to write them to disc so that i can watch them on my tv. Is there a free way to do this?

Or what is the best way to do this?

I was new to my current job about 6 months ago, and the girl I was replacing was leaving a day or two after I arrived. well the last day she was here, she baked a whole pan of cup cakes for our office and asked me if I could deliver them to all her friends back at work. She was running late to the airport so she gave them to me to deliver. the only thing is that once she got on the plane, I tryed one and it was really good! so I just took the whole pan back to my place and ate all of them. is this wrong?

We may disagree on the solution, but at least we need to know there is a problem.

I already asked the parents of the child who will be participating and they said "it should be alright" "I asked the child she said" I guess so?" But I would really like to know if I should try to find a sitter. Or if other people typically bring their kids? My kids are 7 mos and 2 years old. The cotillion will be held in the afternoon. I have no idea what to expect.

As a condition of our sale we agreed to replace the living room bay window. Now the buyer is claiming it was installed incorrectly and he can't get the window closed. Obviously we did not opt for an expensive window since we were leaving, and my husband's cousin (who installs windows for his job) installed it as a favor to us, so it wasn't done by an actual company. Do we have any responsibility to fix it since it was a condition of sale, or is it now the buyer's problem?

That illegal who left her son here when she was rightfully returned to Mexico recently had been caught breaking our immigration laws and deported once already. Then she broke the law again and snuck back in. Do the math and she immediately concieved a child. Then she broke another law and stole a social security number to get a job. Having been caught, this "three striker" elected to leave her son HERE. A little KID! She droped him here to make a point. My mom would have never done that to me! She's not allowed back in for a visit. We should keep a watch on the boy. If she shows up, it should bring a jail sentence. Then he can visit her in Calipatria State Prison, or perhaps Donovan. It's closer to the border and Warden Hernandez has many special programs for incarcerated illegals.

I work for our family business, I'm sick of having to keep track of who's here on time and who isn't.
Our employer makes us earn our sick leave:
ie: In order for us to earn 4 hours of sick pay (That's only 1/2 a day!!!) we have to have perfect attendence for one month with only one time you're allowed to be late!
I think that an employer should either give sick leave every year automatically or not at all. I do not believe it is fair to make an employee "earn" the right to be sick!
Please give me some sites that I can find information directly on this matter. I'm sure the Texas Workforce Commission would have something to say about their company practices!

Whenever I drink it, it makes my stomach hurts really bad a few minutes after drinking it... I haven't had it in a few years but I tried some today to see if I still had that reaction and I did.

Last year i was a loser, I was really unpopular, wore sweats and the same stuff, no make-up, wore my hair the same, didnt take alot of care in my appearance. I guess i didnt have alot of friends because i was quiet and shy. I was sick of how i was and wanted to change.
So I got alot of new clothes, stuff from A&F, hollister, and other stores. I have tons of different jeans in different washes and one destroyed pair. Accessores, for my hair and necklaces and braclets. A new perfume. I have a varity of stuff. I got some make-up from sephora that looks natural and fresh. Got my eyebrows waxed. A new hair cut with layers and side bangs. I got a pair of channel studs. And i am taking more care of my appearance then i did before. I am still the same person, a bit shy and quite but i am trying to make new friends by being more friendlier.
Will people see me differently?
Will this make a good first impression? What do you tink of this?

even after I've told them I have no interest in speaking with them. Could his actions be considered a form of harrassment? I'm getting to the point where I either have to call the police about it or get very snotty and confrontational with him. What do you believe law enforcement would do if I complained?
