Name some unpopular NASCAR drivers.?

I think people inherently root for and underdog and get more satisfaction from beating the favorite than picking the favorite.

People hated Richard Petty, Dale Sr., and Jeff gordon because no one wants to see the same redneck win week after week.

They also hate because those drivers along with JPM and Tony Stewart arre overly aggressive at times and make mistakes. We remember the bad things they do a lot longer than the exceptional passes.

Synopsis: The sport is based on hating someone so we can get elated when our guy trounces them on Sunday.

Like stated above, we all respect all of them deep down, dont you think

All the drivers are considered "unpopular" by atleast a small percentile of the people that love and watch NASCAR. Sure, Some are hated more than others... Like Jeff Gordon, The Busch Brothers, Rusty Wallace, and Jimmy Spencer just to name a few. But all in all, Every driver has there negative and positive fan base.

Depends on what you mean by unpopular. I think the unpopular drivers (with a few exceptions) tend to fall into the "love 'em or hate 'em" category. Name a guy who wins and you've named a driver who is both loved and hated. Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon and Dale Sr. are prime examples of this. But I'd guess the most unpopular driver right now is JPM.

But if you mean unpopular in the sense that they don't have a lot of fans, that's probably the guys who don't make race week in and week out and are still young drivers.

Kyle Busch, David Green, Tony Raines and David Ragan don't have much of a fan base that I know of. Even drivers that many people may hate are popular, including Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart. I even think Juan Pablo Montoya is more popular than most would care to admit.

LOL, I went back and read some other answers. Jeff Gordon is the 2nd most popular driver after Jr. Just becuase MANY people boo and say they hate him doesn't mean that they're unpopular.

any driver can be unpopular it all depends on the fans. I've heard all drivers cheered, and booed..yep I have even heard Dale Jr gets some boos, most of them after he said he was going to hendrix... It all depends on the individual fan...At Talladega its normally Jeff Gordon.. I've heard both Busch boys get alot of boos at a couple tracks..

Unpopular? not sure if there are any unpopular drivers out there. But there are drivers that are disliked more than others by Nascar Fans....

in basic terms about all those products became into so massed produced whilst the driving force became into racing that it is not uncommon, that's not nicely worth something and that's not advertising. perhaps for somebody's own sequence or something yet all it extremely is solely a pile of even if anymore. i'm putting my total Dale Jr. in an entire boxed lot up on Ebay. if i'm getting $10 for it plus the delivery to get it out of my closet i would be happy. the sole issues that i'm protecting are Dale Earnhardt SENIOR sentimental memorabilia purely.

well idk who the unpopular ones are cuz they all seem to have fans but every race i have been to Jeff Gordan gets Booed alot durned drivin intros...but the guys i hate the most are Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson those 2 cuz my bf likes them lol Juan Pablo Montoya cuz well hes a not american and he hits everyone and Tony Stewart cuz well hes a jerk and my fav person to hate in NASCAR tho is the Jerett family...i met them as a kid and they wouldn't give me or my brother the time of day you think they would care about kids as fans and also Kurt Bush is up there pretty high too
