EASY AS PIE!!!---QUESTION:How do I copy films to disc?
I have downloaded some films from morpheus which work completly fine on my pc but i want to be able to write them to disc so that i can watch them on my tv. Is there a free way to do this?
Or what is the best way to do this?
ANSWER:FOR PHOTO & SLIDES---FIRST YOU MUST SCAN IT( HP HAS A NEGATIVE ATTACHMENT DEVICE FOR THIS PURPOSE WHICH PLUGS INTO SCANNER)---COPY IT TO YOUR PHOTO FILES---THEN, BURN DISC FROM THE PHOTO FILE!!!---OTHERWISE,IF FOR A "MOVIE" TYPE FILM--YOU'LL NEED TO USE A DVD CREATION PROGRAM( e.g. "ROXIO",,OR, "NERO"--THERE ARE SOME FREE ON THE NET---PERHAPS, SOME OF THE SUBSEQUENT RESPONDERS WILL PROVIDE A WEB SITE LINK FOR A "FREEBE"---

If you have a divx player then burn as a data disc with nero. If no divx player then you will need to convert the film. I would suggest NOT using nero for this as it will take ages, instead use a program called WinAvi (check user comments on which version to use, I use the 6.3 one as they brought out another version that seemed to have problems). It will convert an average size movie in approx 45mins creating vob, tus files unto a folder called tus, load all of the files it creates into nero and it will burn to a dvd in about 7mins. This will then play in most dvd standalone players.

Make sure you have a DVD Writing Drive.
Use Nero to put the film on discs.

Conversion depends on the format of the files, but it can be done and it is free. Check www.videohelp.com for more info.
