Ok... I know I am going to get slammed for this, but oh well...
WHY???? would anyone want to live or rebuild on something that is so beneath the sea level that at anytime it will be washed away again?
I know its home.. i get that.. But, Why??
.. It woukd be like the people from Mt. Saint Helens..climbing to the top and rebuilding there home.. What the heck are we thinking? There are so many other wonderful places to live. Why even try it there?

Please dont take this as if I am heartless. I cried and took in strangers when the Hurricane hit.
I just dont understand why people woukld want to live there now?
They know it is a death trap.. Concrete and dams can only do so much!!
When you live in a Swamp your going to have problems.
Is it worth your life?

Has anyone ever done a pregnacy test and it was positive only to find out you weren't pregnant? What is the chance of this happening? I have done 2 pregnancy tests both have come back positive and i am hoping i am pregnant but i have no signs what so ever and i think i am just a bit scared becasue i have had a miscarriage before. Please help i have a doctors appt tomorrow but i want to know what the chances of the test being wrong are ?

hi . my gums have been puffy ever since i started growing teeth and im 13 now . they are not sore but i would love it if they would go down to normal size . i brush them everytime i brush . i brush them good too . ive had dentists and orthodontists tell me to brush them and i have been but they arent doing anything . ive had alot of work in my mouth . ive had a spacer type thing, phase one braces (four on top four on bottom), phase one retainer and now i have full braces and frickin headgear and i want my gums to go down !! what can i do ????

After doing some research on how to clean an SLR lens, I found that the most common suggestion is to use hot breath and a microfiber cloth to clean the lens in a circular motion. This appeared to work at first. However, after careful inspection, very slight streaks were visible when the lens was viewed underneath sunlight or a bright halogen lamp. In other conditions, these streaks are not visible. The picture quality does not seem to be affected, but I can't help thinking that there has to be at least some picture degradation due to these streaks. Am I being a obsessive? Is there any way to remove these streaks? I just purchased this camera a week ago (a Nikon D40 with lens) and I want to keep it in pristine condition for as long as possible.

I am thinking that the streaks are due to a dirty microfiber cloth. Would washing the cloth be a good idea? If so, what should I clean it with? What should I avoid cleaning it with?

We never know our future. Nothing is sure in our future. But worrying is useless. You can try to be a better person instead of just worrying. We just have to work and try hard to not lose what we want to keep and to get what we want.

If you really care if you really are worrying then why not do something that will make the worry much less likely to happen and just be happy because nothing is certain at all. Nothing is gaurunteed.

First of all I live in the Chicago are and have a south-facing home, so it gets sun from 6am to about 12-1pm. I have one but the leaves burn bc of the stong sun. Downtown I saw some on a south-facing home and they look beautiful. Would Annabelle one's work?

She was just diagnosed last week, and was told not to worry because the lump was so small that she will probably just have a lumpectomy and no chemo. This morning she woke up with blood running from her nipple [which I know is a sign that the cancer may be more advanced than first thought.] Then she admitted that she has lost 2 toenails and is working on the 3rd one. And all this has only been since last Thursday. This is my best friend's mom.My BF has 2 sisters,One died at 48 of matastatic cancer. The 2nd has extreamly advanced lung cancer,but has lived way beyond the 6 weeks she was given. The mother has had several skin cancers removed before her breast cancer diagnosis last week. My BF asked me to please research this issue. We do not intend to tell mom, but to discuss it with her Dr. My friend is completely involved with her mom's treatments. Thanks for your help
