I love "Last Dance for Mary Jane". It has awesome guitar.

Butttt.... as I stop and think about it, Mary Jane's Last Dance is pretty darn good.
Annnddd... so's Free Fallin'.
Dadgum. It's pretty hard to pick the best Tom Petty song.

I'd go even further than Dan W, and say it's IMPOSSIBLE to pick the best Tom Petty song. Heck, I can't even pick out the best album. They're all awesome!
Personally, though, I can really relate to "You Don't Know How It Feels." I love the lines "I'm too alone to be proud," and "Think of me what you will/I gotta little space to fill."
