Tomorrow night will be the first time I meet my boyfriend's (of 2 months) son. He is 5, and he also has Down's Syndrome. He's visiting his father for a few months, then going back to his mother (they share custody). I'm not sure how to act, or what to do, because I've never dated someone with a child before.

Why do you believe there is such a big shortage in Law enforcement? I think the long hiring process and the dangers of the job are one of the main factors. I do believe that agencies should be more lenient in background investigations. Even if an applicant does have any prior drug use, felonies, or misdemeanors, there are many other factors that contributes to that person getting DQ'd.

personally I do believe in evolution, and there are no religions that are based on the scientific fact that evolution is the true reason why all came to be, with the idea of natural selection. Is darwinism a religion or did it used to be? I just dont know,
I know that everyone believes in just about something, but it appears all are under the impression that a god created everything. To my understanding that is a primitive belief, but soon in humanities future all will come to mature to reality. its like the process in growing up for civilizations. I debated whether to go along, but just could not bear worshipping a god that doesnt exist. I am trying to find the religion that I believe to be based on a more logical theory. cannot be atheist, because they believe in nothing, cant be scientologist because of their alien probing stuff. I read of darwinism, but nothing indicates it s a religion. I dont like thinking in primitive ways, so I need to know it darwinism is a religion or not

When I used to read about ladies during their TWW who couldn't wait, I thought "what's the big deal?" It's JUST two weeks! My gosh was I WRONG!!! (lol) This two week wait is killing me! A blonde decides to paint her living room one day while her husband is away for the day. She is trying to prove to him that she can handle doing the dirty work. so she gets out the paint that she wants covers the floors and then 5 hours later the husband comes home and see the walls all painted...but notices his wife lying on the ground passed out. he goes over to her and she awakens, sweat is dripping down her face. the husbad goes hunny why r u wearing two jackets on, its 87 degrees. she said, i was reading the directions on how to apply the paint and it said to put on two coats.....................................................Please star if you liked my joke...thankyou!

I've heard you can answer calls for Pizza Hut at your own home. Like, you have to have the internet and a home phone, and you take orders. Does anyone else know anything about it? How could I get started?

ok. I am lost. I am connected wirelessly and LAN. So i take off my wireless but i get nothing through lan but my wifes computer does. It says connected and firewalled. I tried to repair then it says this

"TCP/IP is not enabled for this connection" But as far as I knwo it is and I have it on the list of drivers installed or properties.

BUt then i go to click on it and install and it says Windows doesnt have any drivers for the device.

I have a Intel Black motherboard. I forget model but it is the black one with a P4 chip. Sorry for shady detials. Where can I get that driver? as I want to unhook wireless so I can have abetter connection.??

my step cousin has been calling me upset and in tears, sometimes i cant understand her words. but one thing she makes clear is that she says she want to die, just die. and that she's more likely to die from her own two hands than a car accident or something. I know she's been through some tough times in the past year, but i would have thought she would be over it by now. But seems as if her world is alway gray, she could be happy for a few, then she falls again*out of the blue*. I want to help her, but dont know were to began.
