If you're looking for a partner in life with ambition, and you dont want to come right out and ask things like, "how much do you make", "do you plan to expand your career/education", etc., then how can you tell if this person is ambitious or what signs might you see if they're going to be lazy with regards to pursuing a good career, eduaction and a decent lifestyle?

I interview for my work place..........and I watch how people walk....... it is a true indictation of how he/she will be in life.......... and work....... if he/she is sloppy , drags his/her feet, he/she wont be a worker....... and if he/she is neater, and walks with their head up, they will be a better worker.........and all the ones that I have hired....... are just like that.........

Hi Lori! I would say observe their patterns and watch what they do. And see if they follow through with what they say they will do. If your ambitious then you can rub off on them too. Its hard for 2 people to live together when one isnt pulling th weight. One reason why me and my ex never made it was for this reason. Well good luck!! Perception is everything..

Smart people wait until their mid 20s to go for a life partner .
By then the answers are pretty self evident ,
By their deeds we know them !

Ask questions that show an interest in the person to get them to talk about themselves:
What are your dreams and what will you do to make them happen? Where do you see yourself in 10 years? What opportunites does your job offer for advancement potential? Also, look at their home and car to see if they are messy or orderly.

If the person seems to have a passion for what they are doing they probably are ambitious if not they are lazy.

sometimes it's easy to tell and other times it's not. but the thing is ask what job they do and what is their future goals in life. but don't keep throwing questions at them. go back and forth. and pretty soon, you'll get a visual on the person's charaistics.

You are equating money with a successful life. They are not the same. When you mature some, you will realize that.
If all you are after is the money and you don't really love the person, you will never be happy.
