Maybe. You sneeze for a number of reasons. It's a defensive mechanism our bodies use to protect and warn us. Sometimes we need medical science to intervene so our bodies don't overreact (antihistamines). If we weren't oxygen breathing creatures we wouldn't have to worry.

there are all types of things you can do for experiment, homeostsis can depend on factors such as the body's temperature, nutrition, enviornmental factors etc. I think that is a great idea on what you're doing your project on, but it is going to be difficult to measure the body's temp when your sneezing because it only happens for a split second.

Not really, it doesn't maintain a constant state, or seek to maintain a constant state. It is a reaction to something, like the reflex when you drag a finger along the bottom of a foot or tap just below the knee.

In my case sneezing is often due to synesthesia, so it's just because it suddenly becomes bright.

It could be. The body's natural response to something foreign in the nasal passages, thus trying to eradicate it.
Another: breathing, heartbeat, sweating, hunger...basically, anything that serves to keep your body maintained in a functional state.
