my step cousin has been calling me upset and in tears, sometimes i cant understand her words. but one thing she makes clear is that she says she want to die, just die. and that she's more likely to die from her own two hands than a car accident or something. I know she's been through some tough times in the past year, but i would have thought she would be over it by now. But seems as if her world is alway gray, she could be happy for a few, then she falls again*out of the blue*. I want to help her, but dont know were to began. I dont even really know whats wrong, because if you as her she would say.
''i cant explain, i just feel it''

Sounds to me like she is experiencing some serious mental issues. And I don't mean that rudely. I can tell you from personal experience that suicidal thoughts are not normal. Wanting to kill yourself is never the right answer. It only hurts the people you love and causes more hurt and anger and saddness. Please get your cousin some help...Tell her mother or father or a teacher or someone...if something happened to her you would never want to think that you could have stopped it. These thoughts need to be worked out. She needs to speak to someone immediately. Help her.

Oh m y, I am sorry to hear that. I am so sorry for you and your cousin to have to go through this. It seems as if she really needs to see her doctor. I am not sure what happened to her in the past, but she sounds depressed and out of control. Try talking to her, make sure she feels comfortable going to see her doctor. Reassure her that doctors see this kind of thing everyday and to not be afraid or ashamed to ask them for help. If you can't get through to her I would let her parents know what she has been saying and how she has been acting. Anyone who is threatening to kill or injure themselves should be taken very seriously. Please bee sure she gets help! I wish you and your family nothing but the best!

If she's talking about wanting to die, she is almost certainly NOT okay. She needs to get help from a professional who can see what's causing her low moods.
