My little sister is going to start her freshman year and she wants to wear this kind of low cut top from Hollister. Is this a bad thing to wear on the first day of school? Will this give teachers a bad impression?

I understand that this is not a good way to present yourself, but she is going to wear the shirt later anyway so why does it matter?

Who cares what the teachers think? If you offend them, they aren't going to give you low grades.... e

The clothes do seem a bit slushie, but many kids can't grasp the reality. For being one of the few to ponder this issue, you get a star! e

If she is in doubt , then instinctively , she already knows that it is inappropriate. If it exposes her breasts then it will give more than just the Teachers a certain impression. Tell her to leave a little bit more to the imagination of others.

respect for yourself, teacher or classmates. Extreme. Would wearing a 2 piece bathing suit in front of eye crazed 8th graders be a good thing. Of course not. There is a proper place and time for sensual or sexual clothes. School is not one of those places.
