the lady i work for could not find someone to take her son as my two back up sitters are sick so she says it is my job to either take her 2 year old with me or reschedule my appointment i say that this is important for my son and i to get taken care of and she should take the afternoon off work to get another appoinment for us will take weeks to months if this was just a normal appoinment i would cancel but I feel my son and I's hearing should get taking care of do you think i should suck it up and cancel or tell her to suck it up and come get her kid at lunch tiime?

My son (third grade) over the past three years has gotten in trouble on the playground for playing WWF, tackle football, and smacking a kid in the mug because he was repeatedly kicking him. All of these horrific "offenses" resulted in his being sent to the office and my getting a call at work. I explained to the school staff that I saw nothing wrong with what he had done-he has the right to defend himself and it is OK for boys to roughhouse some. From their reaction, you would have thought Satan himself had manifested himself right there. I won't raise a bully, but I'll be damned if I'm going to raise a gutless feck.

I have two dogs, female and male, both chihuahuas. I got them from different owners and I saw the mother for the female and they were the same size for the male I had. But she hasn't grown. I got her in march and I was expecting she would grow to be the same size as the other one. I found them copulating and I think she is too small to have babies. I don't know much about chihuahuas and I wasn't expecting her to be in heat so soon. I separated them now, but I think she is pregnant. I am concerned with her dieying at giving birth. Does anyone know what I should do?

I have two questions.

The first is 24=e(x+1).....where x+1 is an exponent. I know its very simple but i just can't remember how to solve it.

The second is log(4)x=3/2....where 4 is the subscript.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

how do you think he will fair this season? he got 16ppg in his sophmore year and he increased it to 21ppg last year. even though the bulls dont consider him their best player cuz he doesnt play good defense, he is good, and very underrated.

NOT just a song by the Police but a philosophical/theological idea by John Locke. What are your thoughts on this philosophy? I found it rather earth shattering when I was a practicing Catholic.
It made me realize that I am not the sum total of just 'materials' and made me have a much broader perspective on the nature of human beings and inherent divinity. Thoughts? Thanks and Namaste

I had 34 feeder fish in the tank with my 4in. RES and 1in. Yellow Belly and my 2 1in. Map turtles. They ate 32 of the feeder fish in less then 15 minutes. I was feeding them pellets but they would eat like 20 of them so i got feeder fish. I had the feeder fish in the tank for at least 2 weeks. last night one of my maps caught one and my RES was getting up set because he couldnt catch them. after 10 minutes he learned to wait till they go up and sneak up under them. My RES went a killing spree. Does this mean i need bigger feeder fish? He eats them fast. We got him 1in. feeder fish because we thought they would fill him up. but i guess not.

Hey, I just got my first violation notice for asking the following question:

Where is the cross that Jesus died upon?

Question Details:

You would think, for an event of such magnitude as the death and resurrection of the very son of 'God' himself, people would have done all they could to preserve any evidence, such as the cross he died on. So where is the cross? They could produce evidence of his existence, via things like the shroud of Turin (which isn't actually evidence, since it's a proven fraud), but they can't even produce the cross?

So what's so horrid about asking this question? Inquiring minds wanna know!

Both the vegans I know are pro-choice. This doesn't make sense to me. How can you be opposed to killing a chicken fetus (egg) but be ok with killing a human fetus.

I am pro choice, I also eat meat. I can understand how they fit together. I can understand how one can be pro-life and have no problem eating meat. I can respect someone is pro-life and vegan (although I disagree with them on both points) but for the life of me I can not figure out how you reconcile being pro-choice and vegan. Please explain how you reconcile the apparent hypocracy.
