I don't view skinny guys as less of a man, however I feel like viewing them as weak (physically) is almost inevitable since they are a lot smaller. I don't view them as any weaker mentally or emotionally. With that said, I don't think I would date a skinny guy. I think our society really embraces the idea of a man being the brave protector, and that idea doesn't fair well on skinny guys. I like to have a man who can make me feel really safe, and when the guy weighs just a little bit more than I do, it doesn't really convey that as well.
I am a white 21 year old from Boston

1. I don't think skinny guys are weak but I understand that is a stereotype placed on skinny guys.
2.My daughter has a skinny boyfriend but she is smart enough to know that as one gets older their metabolism slows down and then you even out. It doesn't bother her and love goes beyond that anyway.
3.See my website below
It sounds to be that you feel uncomfortable about your size. My stepson is also very skinny and feels uncomfortable so he started to go to the gym and drink those protein shakes. He had already gained 10 pounds. Remember one thing, you have the power in you to change the things you don't like about you. I believe you can.

I'm the same way. Not really tall, not a ton of muscle, skinny legs and arms. Fact of the matter yes, some woman find it a turn off, and they do think that you're less of a man. Are they right?? Hell no, you are who you are and there is not up without down. It used to make me feel like ****, and feel inferior but life's to short to let anythig like that have control over you. There are plenty of woman out there who will care about for who you are. If it really bothers you, go to a personal trainer and develop a weight training and diet regime. Anything is possible.

My guy is what you would consider skinny is about 6 foot and 165 lbs he wears big clothes though but he has thin arms and legs. I don't prefer this but this is the guy that I feel in love with so I like it. Sometimes I even make a joke about him being skinner then me even though he isn't it just really gets under his skin. LOL

1. I don't view them as "less of a man" it is not your outward appearance that makes you who you are.
2. Personally, I usually didn't go for the skinny guys. I like someone with a little meat on them. Better for cuddling!
3. American, White, 20

your only 21, you're not yet fully grown, so i wouldn't worry too much about being so skinny. I think men keep on growing till they're about 25.
I prefer men with a bit of meat on them myself ,but each to their own, but then again I'm not 21.
and no, I wouldn't consider anyone's weight to be a judge of who they are as a person, man or woman. I'm not skinny, but I eat well and walk everyday, you probably eat more than I do, so in the end we just have to accept ourselves for who we are.
I'm Irish, and white, and in my 30s (since you asked)
