need help fast! where do I start looking for the problem?

Check the bulb you are putting into the socket. It could be too much wattage for the fuse. Make sure you check the manual to get the correct power of bulb for that light.

If the bulb is right, there might be a short in the wiring system. You may have to take it to a mechanic to properly check it.

There is a short in the wiring, a good place to start looking is the light bulb socket, and then start working your way back. Make sure that the bulb is correct and it is installled correct.
