A high school English teacher reminds her class of tomorrow's final exam. She tells the class there would be no excuse for not showing up, except for serious injury, illness, or a death in the student's immediate family.

A smart-*** jock in the back of the room asks, "What about extreme sexual exhaustion?"

The entire class does its best to stifle their laughter and snickering. When order is restored, the teacher smiles sympathetically at the student, shakes her head, and sweetly says, "In your case, you'll just have to show up anyway -- you'll just have to write with your other hand."

we have just had confirmation from the "grape vine" that we are going to be made redundant. The catch is we are not being told if we are going to be paid.
What would you do? And any help on redundancy would be appreciated?

The big irony here is that this isnt true anymore. People come to this country and dont "melt" in anymore. Instead, they have their own "pride" for their native country and form pockets within the walls of the US. This inherently creates diversity and sympathy for the less fortunate in other countries. Subsequently, these people get voted into American office and then apply laws to dictate their own personal views.

Hello, i wanted to ask a question about todays society. One day i was with my gf at the beach, when i left for like 10mins 2*arab* guys walked to her and started flirting to her. When she said that she is not interested, they called her sl*t etc..when i arrived, ofcourse those guys left at that moment. But the problem is why are there such racism against whites now in UK ? I`m sure if i would offend those people like that some other day, then it would be called racism and it would be one of those "hate crimes/speach". I really dont understand what are their problem with people here..People in UK are very friendly and open. I have heard about problems like this in schools these days(whites must be silent, but others can do what they want), but i really didnt experience it on my skin until this week. Ofcourse people like this are minority and others respect our people. But the question is, why are there such double standarts for people here?.

I'm 19 years old and I have one credit card that I have had for a year now. My credit it pretty good but I want to improve it anyway. If I were to get a 2nd credit card will this help my credit at all or make no difference? I wouldn't use it that much, I'm just curious if it would make a difference. Thanks!

That is the reason that Chavez closed a TV station in Venezuela. RCTV actively participated in trying to overthrow a democratically elected leader. In countries like Britain there are broadcasting laws and such an action by the BBC for instance would breach these laws. So what if CNN called for the overthrow of the democratically elected President?

The Western media makes out that this action is an attempt by Chavez to silence opposition voices which frankly is bu11sh1t. If that was the case there would be no opposition party in Venezuela. There is, Coordinadora Democratica, and they have policies for any post Chavez era.

The US claimed that Chavez had brought in a law that restricted the freedom of the press. In reality the law entitled Law on the Responsibility of Radio and Television did nothing more than regulate sexual and violent content and legislates against slander of BOTH public officials and private citizens. Exactly what other countries like the US and UK have.
