Absolutely. Was born in a country that has free education, has no issues over food and water, is fairly affluent and as long as you are willing to put the work in you can be sucessful.

Personally I have a good job, a great girlfriend, money in th bank and the ability to move around as and when I please.

Of course I am lucky, when I have nothing and the inability to rectify things due to events out of my control, thats when I will consider myself unlucky.

Smile, you are alive and have great prospects.

Great question. I considerer myself an extremely lucky person. Having come close to death on a few occasions makes me feel kinda lucky, I almost died, but more than anything else that happened to me I just have to look at how many times I almost got hit by a car or had an accident or almost didn't make it to work on time or, on a sneakier note... all the times I almost got found out! The number of accidents or crisis which actualy occur in my life are, thankfuly, very few. The number of times I come close to these incidents is disproportionately high. We're all lucky in that respect.

Yes, extremely lucky. Every potential tragedy turned out okay in the long run; I emerged mostly unscathed during strife when too many others lost so much; my loved ones are mostly alive and well; good things happen to me every day. So many people around me have to deal with things far more soul-destroying and irreversible. I have my health and my loved ones - with that, I'll do okay.

Yeah Tony. I discovered another english partner in your kind and gentle person. I won't reply to your question because it's time to sing a song:

What a beautiful castle, Marcondirondirondello!
(Sing it with me... Imagine of staying on the Wembley's stage...wow)

I hope you will be able to smile about my Answer.

Regards,
Stefano.

Dhamma of Lord Buddha said that more happy is a little sad and more sad is a little happy. They all mean everyone is sad not only a little sad but also more sad. You will know yourself all the time in sad and make up your mind to welcome sad. For this way your mind will strong enough to face the situation. Life is so short so hurry to make sth. good when you are alive. "Lucky person" in the mean of mine is alive of doing good for myself, my family, my community, my coutry and my world. That is all.
