My girlfriend's mother was kind enough, just out of the blue, to give me her old clamshell Nokia 6102i cell phone. Most everything works as it should, except for the backlight, which turns off when the screen is pushed past a certain point, or even, sometimes, if the phone is opened too quickly. Occasionally, I will be typing or scrolling through menus, and the light will annoyingly pulsate (i.e. turn off and on rapidly). Is there any way to fix this myself, or will I have to send the phone to Nokia for repair?
