If your spouse abuses illegal drugs and threatens to hurt you is it scripturally okay to leave him? I asked this question once before, I'm still not sure what to do.

I hear every day from various people about how unhappy they are with jobs, family, friends, weight issues etc..
Was just wondering if there are people who are happy just being themselves.
I have a great husband and daughter, none of us are sick, not rich, and I carry a bit of exytra weight, but I can say I am happy with my life...

How do I get her to clean her apt and keep it clean? I mean it smells, she never cleans her dishes and even when she does, all she does is rinse them out...she rarely uses soap. The carpet is filthy with stains and has never been vacuumed. Her bedsheets are totally nasty and the bathroom...I never use. She used to watch my kids for me, but I couldnt take it any more because my 2yo always got sick after being over there. She has a 2 yo son that stays sick and I believe the condition of her apt is part to blame. I've seriously considered calling child protective services or the health dept. And anytime anyone(me, my mother, or my aunt) says something to her about it, she blows up. And she only cleans up a little if shes having company so she is well aware that she is living trifling. I mean should I get an agency involved so she can see how serious this is?

Christians act like they can hear God talking to them. Like God implants thoughts into their head. When I hear a thought in my head, I'm pretty sure I thought of it myself, considering its in MY head. I spent a huge amount of time during my teenage years very active in a missionary Baptist church. I am now 25 years old. I am still waiting on this big amazing feeling where I can actually feel God's presence and know for certain he exists. I'm starting to get pretty darn sure it isn't going to happen. So what, then, Christians? Am I not somebody God wants in Heaven, is that why he hasn't given me a feeling of certainty within myself of his existance? What happened to you to make you so positive about your beliefs?

I was reading an article about jellyfish on AOL and it was saying how they have a huge affect on the world, in a negative way, so on and so on. There were comments left below the article and some people were saying that jellyfish cause a lot of problems, blah, blah, blah! Now my question is, what exactly is the issue with jellyfish. In order to see a Thestal you have to see someone die, Harry saw his parents die so why couldn't he see them the very first time he rode in the carages? He only saw them after he saw Cedric die.

I don't want a bunch of PETA bandwagoneers on my case for this one, just read the question and think about it!! Please.
Our laws are pretty messed up. We have a referee looking at 25 years for game fixing. Fixing a freaking basketball game/games!! A GAME. When murderers, Child molesters, repeat drunk drivers, theaves, robbers, etc. get a lot less than that?
Yes, I'm mentioning Michael Vick! He is looking at up to 5 years(he won't get that, but still) He will serve time in prison whether it be 1 year or 3 years, for gambling on dogfights and sponsering illegal acts. Huh? Let's not tell anyone about the "illegal act" our own government is doing as we speak! Give me a break, when is our judicial system really going to start working?

I've been training for about 3 months and just the past couple weeks I've really slacked. I think I've become slightly burnt out....also my friend that got me into it stopped training because an important football game is on the same day as the race!! GRR...I just need any tips anyone here uses when they need to get back into it! I need some serious motivation!! I don't want to give up now!!! plus my knees hurt sometimes...i think that might be another excuse I'm using to not go running! Thanks
