Hello, I hope that you are all doing well today. I want to know what your opinion is about the discovery of Noah's Ark on Mount Ararat? Let me elaborate: in the 1950's a frenchman named Ferdinand Aranzo(?) and his son, climbed Mount Ararat in an expidition to find the Ark. At that time they found some wood, but not the entire Ark. Ferdinand had the wood tested to see how old it was. The wood was 5,000 years old, also it was a type of wood that had never before been in that region. Since then, there have been many expeditions by dozens of people on Mount Ararat. It is believed by many people, a lot of these being in the scientific community that the Ark is hidden in a volcanic peak bordering Iran and the Former Soviet Empire at Mt. Ararat. A chineseman and his crew believed that they walked into the Ark, when they made a tunnel and crawled through it on one of their expeditions. Before I start im 17, grew up with a crazy childhood, no drugs or alcoholism, or anything. Just a very demanding mom and her constant yelling. I get set off at my girlfriend for stupid things and I will yell at her and she doesnt like it, I DONT LIKE IT either, how do I stop this I love her to death...I also get mad easily at little things and blow through the roof. im 19 and my boyfriend is 23, we've been together for almost 3 years and we've lived together for about 18 months. i love him dearly but he is so insecure. he is controlling and possesive and is so worried that i'm going to cheat on him (which i would never do). its gotten to the point now where i dont think i can take it anymore, his temper gets out of control sometimes and he constantly puts me down. but hey, its not all bad!! lol. when its good its really good. but those times are few and far between. i lost contact with my friends when we started going out so i have no one i can really turn to. when i think of life without him, i get upset. i cant bare the thought of not being with him everyday. its so hard!!

Twice now alcohol has been a problem between him and I and twice he has let me down. I know I can not control his drinking and I wouldn't try. I'm not against his drinking, what I don't like is when he drinks himself stupid. He has no self control when we're with other people, esp. his buddies who drink more often then he does and can handle their alcohol. He does not know when to stop even if he's the one driving, even when he tells me before hand that he doesn't plan on drinking that much. I know I can't rely on him when we go out like that, no matter what he says. My night is ruined because I get upset seeing him behave the way he does (I can't even look at him) and it makes it awkward for everyone else. I know he wouldn't like seeing me behave that way but I don't know how else to get through to him other than tell him if that is how he is going to choose to drink then I don't want to be a part of it and I won't go at all.

I am amazed by all of the posts on this site that protray the Lord God as a punishing God. The talk of fire and brimstone just makes me giggle. I don't know about other Christians out there, but I serve a loving and mercifully God. A wonderful God, I know that I sin every day, every in slight thought that might not pure, every word that slips off my tongue that is foul, or every time I get angered in traffic, all sins. However I know that when I pray I ask for forgiveness, he forgives washes the slate clean and I try to do better tomorrow. That's the God I serve.
