I keep hearing cons say the same ol thing "Would you rather fight the terrorists on Iraqi soil or U.S. soil?"

gee Nice try, but you failed to stop them from getting here. Remember 911? Oh, that's what I thought.

BTW terrorist are not stupid. Why would they magically go to Iraq where our military is. Isn't it logical if they want to live they would go somewhere else?

Not sure about you but if there is a fire in my way, I'd prefer to walk around the fire. Cons have this BELEIF that terrorist will magically attract to our military. Well, let me clue you in on a little secret. THEY'D PROBABLY AVOID THE MILITARY.

But cons are so stupid they have some faith based beleif that terrorist will go to the military, rather than avoid the military. Seems better to bypass Iraq and head anywhere but.

Or at least they beleive it because Bush tells them it's so.

Her child is very misbehaved and I have a new baby and am only taking well behaved children. This child does many things that are unacceptable in my house, the 3 worst are lying, hitting, and swearing. He is acutally a pretty cute kid and not defiant, but I cannot deal with such continual disipline needs at this point, especially when the parents say 'good luck' and drop him off. I told her once that he was hitting and she didn't even say anything to him that I know of or follow through at home. She didn't even seem suprised. How do I tell her in 20 minutes that I will continue to the end of next week only?

I rarely use styrofoam but on the rare occasion that I use it I find myself wondering what to do with it. It has the recycle triangle thingy on it but alot of people have told me it isn't recyclable. Also, how do I sort it? Paper or plastic? thanx.

why is it that atheists are so put down all the time? is it wrong to know your history? i know what all of you religious people are going to say, 'you don't know your history, we do! jesus died for our sins! it says so in the BIBLE!!....' but the thing is, we as atheists look for living proof of history, religious people just look to the bible. why won't any religious people give us a chance? we research and devote our time to looking at what's REAL, and we just get bashed for that saying we have no 'faith'? and recently i looked at a website (i forget the name), but there was a poll of who would you most likely vote president, and blacks, gays, women, and even mentally disabled people came before atheists! how wrong is this? just because we're atheist doesn't mean we're more, or less, of a person than religious people are! so please stop bashing us like we don't know anything when, 7 times out 10, we do more research than most religious people do.

My ex and I were together for almost a year..is was such a great guy sweet, caring..I loved him so much. Well we got into this little fight over a week ago, over something stupid I dont even remember, and he told me he didnt want to be with me anymore and he didnt love me. Just the day before he was telling how much he loved me and how we were going to be together foreve, and he even wanted to move in an apartment with me. I just dont understand how you can change your mind overnight.Im so confused, how do you move one and get over this?

Is it normal for a 14 year old to get really depressed about life just in general? Is it hormones or what? or is it just how my life has been? ummm,let me explain.. my mom is a complete alcoholic and never calls me(i live with my dad)but on the rare occasions when she does she's drunk and she blames all her life's mistakes on me which causes me to fail classes have to see a counselor,etc. she also does drugs and won't quit, when i use to live w/her things were just as bad,her bf's would slap her around,she'd end up in jail i'd get hit, i would have to run away,she would also come home with a different guy every night she didn't show up for a whole day i didn't know where she was,that day just so happened to be my 7 b-day. she has also had 3 different kids from 3 differnt guys and she barely ever talks to them either.the point is is that im always feeling like i wish i would just die some days and im always depressed and everything. please help me.. is this normal?
