I was wondering if anyone has heard about which way BOSE is going to go in the HD Format. I have chosen to back blu-ray which I believe is the better technology and will eventually be the clear winner. I have a BOSE 3-2-1 system in my bedroom. I am looking to get a second blu-ray player nearer to the holiday season and use it with the 3-2-1. But, if I knew BOSE might be moving towards blu-ray, maybe I might wait for a new blu-ray version of the 3-2-1 model.
Just wondering..

Im trying to burn a movie using nero vision 4, and ive got the menu already in the folder or video_ts, and when i add that menu to nero,rather then letting me press play it just plays the menu and then go's on to the movie. Can someone help me try to have it where i can press start when the menu comes up?

got a family member showing signs over 10 years of it.. now he's an adult. doesn't believe anything is wrong with him. boy really needs help. mother at wits end. only serious adult minded individuals need to apply. he feels there is nothing wrong with him so won't see a doctor. some really deep stuff going on in his head. jekyl hyde stuff. everything is other people's fault. what do you know? can share? thanks.

i am interested to hear what you think, teleology basically means to think that everything happens for a purpose

f.ex:
"we have eyes because we need to see"
"it rains because plants and rivers need water"
"we have night and day because we need to sleep"
etc

i heard that children use teleology very often to understand the world and gadgets.

because of our brains predisposition thats also the reason why we feel real anger when something like computers and cars stop working.

we are frustrated at them because a part of us thinks they know what they are doing.

you can join my philosophizing about this, or you can tell me about your experience with anger on non-living things.

have you ever thought about why you want to hit computers\mouse\keyboard when they obviously have no will of their own, nor can they feel the pain.

I drive a 2002 tahoe and everytime I have my A/C running and I step on the gas, this weird loud noise comes up and it goes away if I lay off the gas. I'm taking it in for a check up, I just want to have an idea on what the problem might be. Any help is welcomed :)

I started writing this poem but I'm not sure how to end it:

What do you see?
What can it be?
Your point of view
Is what you see inside of you

An empty room
Can be peaceful and quiet
A quiet you love to hear,
But to someone else,
It's beyond loud-
Torture to their ears

Your only friend could be the moon,
That hangs in the sky so bright,

i have had 11 fish deaths in the past month, it began shortly adding a new fish - the others stopped eating then one seemed to die each day then we replaced the filtration system, pump, treated with salt, ich tx and deaths stopped for about 1 wk then started again 3 days ago with 1 death each day and i don't know why. the ph is perfect, ammonia and nitrates only mildly elevated ; of the fish 9 black and 3 golden goldfish died - the other kinds seem ok. are goldfish less hardy?

Recently one of my coworker had made a negative comment about koreans eating dogs. He said that they eat dogs b/c they are poor? Now, there "might" be a some truth to his comment but his comment was mostly based on the fact that he felt it was an unhumaine, socially and culturally unaceptable here in the US. Americans' consider dogs and cats as part of the family. I told him that Korea is not a poor country, like other countries, it does have poverish sections, but korea is an agricultural country, their main diest is rice and vegetables, and consider meat "any" sort of meet a delicatisen. I just think that he feels that korea is inferior, he equates koreans to animals and culturally unaccepting. Does he sound racist?

I saw someone refer to Walter Moers (who wrote "The 13 1/2 Lives of Captain Bluebear") as a cult writer, but I found his bluebear book to be very enjoyable, childlike, and generally fun. I wouldn't link this book with "cult" in my mind. Except maybe the cults of fans. :P
