i am interested to hear what you think, teleology basically means to think that everything happens for a purpose

f.ex:
"we have eyes because we need to see"
"it rains because plants and rivers need water"
"we have night and day because we need to sleep"
etc

i heard that children use teleology very often to understand the world and gadgets.

because of our brains predisposition thats also the reason why we feel real anger when something like computers and cars stop working.

we are frustrated at them because a part of us thinks they know what they are doing.

you can join my philosophizing about this, or you can tell me about your experience with anger on non-living things.

have you ever thought about why you want to hit computers\mouse\keyboard when they obviously have no will of their own, nor can they feel the pain.

Actually, I am pretty mild mannered, but when I was younger and would run into a chair or something I would hit it, I even catch myself doing that occasionally yet, I smashed my fax machine when I was have problems with it, but humans I am never aggressive. I really have to be pushed to hit someone.
It is kind of wierd, for a split second sometimes I actually feel like an object hurt me on purpose.

Anger is a part of us all. It will find a way out. I like to direct mine at objects in order to avoid doing it to people. Things don't feel pain.

easy, because they don't work when i need them to in order to complete a task, and not being able to do something i need to do makes me angry because not doing important things have bad consequences like not getting groceries and making people in the house hungry.

No. I pick and choose my battles carefully and inanimate objects aren't one of them. (Woman's point of view though).
