Does it watch the Weather Channel or something?

No, I'm not 12, I'm a grownup, and I just asked this in Polls and Surveys, which is a silly category, and I only got one response.

I heard on the news the other night that Jamaica was expecting to be battered by hurricane Dean. I thought that is silly because Jamaica has no brain but I guess they meant the people of Jamaica. The weather likewise has no brain and does not 'know' what to do. Things happen due to the heat of the sun, moisture evaporating from the seas, the earth spinning. Weather forecasting is an attempt to predict what is going to happen by means of weather observations and mathematical models.

well im guessing it has to do with how warm or cool the air is and then again how the speed of the wind or air is going (and pressure) it all really has to do with speed how warm or cool it is

and other than that you usually see rain clouds from water like lake ontario that eventually becomes rain

hope i helped im sure you could find more if you looked it up somewhere or in your library and look for a book on weather!
