So i have my ears pierced and i really want to get them double pierced. I just don't understand how fast-food incompetence can be increasing, but more often than not I have to repeat my order at least twice at a drive-thru window and then they get it wrong anyway. Is it really that hard, with a fixed menu and an incredibly simple order-entry system, to get an order right?

Anyway, after 3 times I drive off, unless they've boxed me in with curbs or something. And yes, I know I shouldn't be eating junk food in the first place . . .

I just finished a 404 mile trip in 5.25 hrs and I thought that was pretty good. Thats about 77 mi/hr average, I felt like I was driving the 24hrs of LeMans!

I'm getting this annoying message like every 30 seconds. I'm connected through a DSL line but it keeps asking me to connect to the freaking dialup service for some reason. Obviously I can get on the internet since I'm typing this message. I just want this annoying message to go away. I don't know much about networking or broadband so please go easy on me.

I often go to fast food restaurants like McDonald's and Tim Horton's (a very popular Canadian coffee and pastry chain). Both now take credit card, and it seems to be quicker than paying with cash, since no signature is required. I used to feel guilty when paying with credit card for small amounts, because it took longer. However, I do prefer paying with credit card for everything, since I receive points. Should I?

Ok, so I really wanted this job at a truck stop (yes, I know, it's not glamorous but I needed a job!). I filled out an application, got 2 interviews, and then the lady who interviewed me told me to call her in a week if she hadn't called me already because it looked like I was really going to get the job.
I called her and she started beating around the bush telling me "oh, I need to finish my interviews and oh, i'm waiting for the office to call me" and so forth.
I've been turned down like this before, so my question is, why don't they just tell you that you're unqualified or they found someone else instead of just beating around the bush and playing guessing games?! Is there anything I can say to them?

I got test results for gestational diabetes and 1 hour sugar test was too high. I have changed my diet and am eating better than ever,more vegitables, and friuts, even whole wheat bread instead of the white bread I used to eat.Now I have to take another test for three hours to where I can not eat after midnight the night before.No problem, but why is this happenig. I read some doctors now days just perform more csections than ever.What for to get more money.If the next test comes back too high i will swicth doctors if they say my baby is too big and might need surgery.I will switch to midwife if I have too!!! I wont be subbjected to surgery or what they did with my first born.The pitocin,vacum,episiatamy, too much invasion.It is not natural.Why is my diet not working do I have to give up the occassional chocolate,and practically starve to get better test results?

My friend just got turned down by the girl he loved, but this isn't a normal turn down though. He was dumb enough to ask why she turned him down which lead to him learning that she considers him more of a big brother and that a relationship between them would never work out. Then he was retarded enough to make a deal that he would recognize that they could never be together and he would never try to ask her again. The guy is a nice guy, but he is friends with a chick magnet who is perfect at doing everything. That is who the girl has a crush on and the reason he stood no chance of dating her. I'm the guy closest friend and was rooting for him but he told me that that was one reason she wouldn't date him because there were alot of people trying to help him with her. Now his whole life from that day has been a emotional rollercoaster, he seems to be trying to get himself to hate the girl but I know his love for her is too strong. Please help me with situation.
