So i have my ears pierced and i really want to get them double pierced. She doesnt want me to and she is not budging what should i do to convince her. and if you are wondering why i want them pierced it is not because it popular but because i have always wanted it done to me. so thanks for you help!!! oh yeah and i almost forgot i am 12

dont just go and get them pierced without her permission because whenever she does find out (and she will - im a mom & moms do know everything) it will be alot worse punishment!!
whenever i was 16, i wanted my belly button pierced really really bad..and my mom kept saying no, so i finally talked to her (rationally) and i told her that it wasnt like it was a tattoo or anything like that and it could be taken out if it needed to be. so thats how i got her to let me get it done. just talk to your mom in a calm mannor and it might take a few time talking to her about how its not permanent and that it wont hurt you in anyway to get her to realize that it really wont hurt anything to let you get them pierced. trust me, im a mom and moms can be bullheaded and stubborn sometimes, but the more you talk to her (in a nice way - not mouthy) the better the chances are for you to get your way. also if you suck up a little bit, that might help - it sometimes did with my mom.

Hi! Well are your ears pierced already? You could explain to her how one piercing in a ear isn't all that different from two. Tell her how responsible you'll be, maybe impress her with some piercing facts and care instructions. Remind her of anything postive you've done (chores,good grades,being nice to siblings). Try to butter her up, never make her mad cause that won't work. Be sure to time your askings, ask after you've done her a favor. Once again you could try the everyones doing it card. Try acting like you'll be excluded. My rents always say ok when that happens cause they don't want me to be a loner. Well hope that helps some, good luck! :)

You are only 12? When I was 13 I wanted my belly button pierced so badly. All my friends got it done and my mom didn't let me. I am 18 now and I'm sooo glad that my mom didn't let me get it pierced. Just wait a couple of years and see how you feel about it. You're mom will be more understanding once you're older.

Well I did that when i was ur age..and i didnt wear earings in the second holes for a while and the closed.
Its hard work to finding 2 sets or earings that match what ur wearing and look good together

How about not trying to convince her cuz it'll probably never happen anyway and when you are old enough you can pierce yourself full of holes if you want.

Well, parents are going to set their own rules for their own kids.
Try asking her honestly why she won't let you. Maybe you can go from there and compromise.
Otherwise, show her pictures, explain why you want them done, and explain to her how you will take care of them.

i had to convince my parents to let me get mine a 2nd time too. i was your age when they let me. they said if i got all A's or A-'s on my report card i could get them pierced. Good luck!!!

im 12 years old and i have my ears TRIPLE pierced.
just dont act like a baby if you do go to do it, or else you'll look immature.just be confident and ask your mom. dont say but mom everyone has thier ears peirced twice why cant i ?
do say mom i know you dont want me to get my ears peirced but i can be responsible and i respect your desicion if you say no.

well im twelve too and i got mine done just before i turned 11...mi dad didnt want me to but mi mom didnt really care so i asked mi mom to take me...she did and when i got home mi dad yelled at me but he eventually got over it...lol...and go to claires ...they're really good...u wont even feel it!!!
