Cursor jumps around unless I hit keys slowly and softly?

I type quickly with a heavy touch, but cursor jumps here and there? How do I fix this.

Are you hitting the keyboard hard enough to cause the mouse to bounce and move slightly?

Try turning the mouse upside down and see if it stops.


Do you have a trackpoint or touchpad on the keyboard? you might be effecting that. If it is not your primary mouse try disabling it in the Device Manager.

See if the keyboard plugs are tight. If so, try another key board. You may have torn the circuit board loose.
