Yes that is my general question, but here is more about my case..

I have an English Eavestaff upright piano which gets out of tune in about 6 months. I play around 1 to 2 hours per day on average. Eavestaff (Chippendale, if you know what I mean..)

If you really know what I mean, how good is the piano otherwise??? I kind of bought it, because I loved the tone plus it takes more finger force to press the keys, which is good, as this develops your fingers and you get a great pleasure and ease when playing other pianos..

Another question:

When a tuner comes to your home to tune your piano, what a good professional tuner should consider. I know some tuners not only tune but do something to the softness of the hammers and they might even change the touch,.. how to say... well the amount of force needed to suppress the key.. Is this true and is this good stuff to expose your piano to???

What should one consider in such issues???

He lives in another country. My mother left when I was young and he raised my two other siblings and myself. He made alot of mistakes and was abusive, although he did the best he could. Up until last year I was engaged. He said he would not come to the wedding, that it was too long of a flight. Am I obligated now to go see him simply because he is my dad and getting older etc. He makes very little effort now, 1 phone call a month, maybe a 3 line email every second week.

how smug and condescending is this?????

Feminist will never say I am disempowered and I have no equality - they always speak about feminism being for some illusive sisterhood out there

like they the speaker are big and great and strong and the women feminism is helping are puny and weak and small.

uber female needs no man Rio Madeira is by far the very worst perpetrator of this smug beltittling attitude towards other women.

I've been getting a lot of headaches accompanied with 'dizzy spells' .... where i become dizzy & literaly can't see for several minutes at a time and feel nauseous like i'm going to throw up, and feel as though i'm going to pass out. So i have to sit down. It takes a long while for me to 'recouperate' or to feel slighlty better, then when i go to go about my normal activities, its only a few minutes or so and i feel the same.
This has been ongoing for several months (except the periods of dizziness which has been consistent about 2 weeks...((comparable to when you become dizzy due to a drop in blood pressure after standing up to quickly after a period of laying or sitting down) with the exception that i'm not going from sitting to standing, i'm usually simply standing.)) Is it too much 'sugar' or caffine in my diet, or dehydration where i just need to drink more water? I dont eat much so i'm sure this plays a factor...... what can i do for this problem?

Well I started hearing a gnawing noise yesterday morning and then again this morning. It lasts for about 5 minutes every day around 6:30 am. Well my room has a foam chair that isn't moved very often (and my bed) which are the only two things in my room not frequently moved. I rarely eat in my room and my dishes go out the same day they came in. Also there are no outside things that they can hide in that would attract them to our yard. For the four years we have been here we have never had a rat problem.

I really hate lunch meat because it upsets my stomach. Do you know of any foods that are easy to make and don't need to be cooked? Whenever we go to the beach or something, I have to take those sandwiches and I'm always hungry because I can hardly finish one. Any suggesttions would be appreaciated. (Peanut butter and jam upsets my stomach too) :(
