Why do some people want to blur the lines between the two?

My apologies to you if your basic training was hard.

However, mine was not.

I went to basic training at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina in 2003. I went there fully expecting it was going to be like "Full Metal Jacket." Boy, was I mistaken.

The drill sergeants barely yelled that much. They never played the mind games I'd heard about. Our smoke sessions were incredibly short. Even the training itself was ridiculously easy.

I've never been a real tough guy, and it was still incredibly easy.

We went through AIT with some Marines. It was embarrasing even trying to talk about "Relaxin Jackson" after hearing their stories about Parris Island and San Diego. Or when I talked with people who went through basic training in the 70's and the 80's.

Every time I try to grab a quick sandwich at a motorway service station or any fast food outlet all of the ready made sarnies have mayo on them.... I hate mayo.....

If I'm lucky I can find something with mint yoghurt..........

Does no one sell plain food anymore?

Don't get me wrong. I love curry/ chinese/ Italian etc.... but hate bloody mayo.....

I asked a question before because I was smelling a weird burning smell... I now know that it was some weird smell from the pants that I had bought a day earlier, and hadn't washed before wearing. Well, I immediatley changed and washed the jeans along with all of the other new clothes I hadn't worn yet. When I took them out of the wash, all of the clothes smelled like that. I tried spraying ferbreze on them, but if that doens't work, should I go to PacSun (where i got the jeans) and demand that they buy me a new wardrobe that DOESN'T give me an allergic reaction? (i got allergies from whatever the smell was)

My huband's ex wanted to call the police on him because he told his disrespectful children that he doesn't have any other choice but start spanking them since they do not listen to him ever! I know he was not serious though. My husband was really hurt by her words....He has done so much for his kids and kissed her *** for years for the sake of the kids! He told me that nobody ever hurt him as much as she did when she threatened to call the cops on him. Is that normal? I mean, I think that people have a power to hurt you the most when you love them more than anybody in your life and when you are very close to them. My husband had to go through a lot - our relationship was less than perfect at the beginning, his parents died, he lost his best friend, etc.. And still his ex has such a power over him ? Why? I do not understand....It doesn't look like he is still in love with her, I know that he loves me. He wanted to divorce his ex for years but stayed for the kids and then finally left.

21 years old, and most of my life I've been a bit of a worrt wart. Okay the deal is, no matter what I love, I get a feeling of worry, something being wrong, and that if I don't prove my love in one way or another, in every moment of each day of my life, I'll lose it forever. This also makes me begin to question my personal prefreneces, which makes me even that more depressed. What can I do, to just live life loving, and not worry?

I filed for chpt.13 in Nov 2006. I am paying a 1500.00 mortgage, and a 1400.00 payment on the Chpt. 13 repayment plan. I have had tremendous trouble keeping up with the trustee payments.My Bankruptcy lawyer contacted me and said the trustee is going to close my case on monday unless I pay a back fee of 4500.00. Needless to say I dont have the money. I have a house on the market and a closing date of Sept 14th. The lawyer suggested that I let the trustee close the case and go to settlement on the set date to save me some money. My question is I have a vehicle and back taxes in the Chpt.13 plan. How does that factor in after the sale of the house? The lawyer suggests getting a tax attorney for the back taxes I owe. So what about the car? Also, since the trustee is going to drop the plan on Monday, what does this mean in terms of my credit and how it is reflected on my credit report. Is it still reflected as an open bankruptsy? Also, what about the money i paid into the plan? Help!

I have married friends who have younger kids that don't know any better, and they always ask me what's wrong with your face or why I have bumps on my face. What do I say? Normally, older people are sociable and polite enough to ignore this embarrassing topic, but for those people who just don't know or understand, what do I say to them other than telling them to piss off, but I can't do that.

I'm 5'8 and weigh about 197 lbs.
I swim everyday for about an hour and a half in the pool.
how many calories should I be taking in everyday to maintain a gradual weightloss? I tend to keep it between 1200-1500 is that good?

I have always been very physically attracted to my husband and as the years have passed, I am still physically attracted to him but I am emotionally spent and can't stand the thought of staying married to someone who has caused me so much pain. He had a long term affair with one of my closest friends, and although I understand why it happened, I will never forget it. Once I told my husband that I was going to file for divorce, he has completely changed his behavior in an attempt to win me back. I don't think he is a bad person, but I don't think a tiger can change his stripes either. In an attempt to make me jealous so that I understand the consequence of losing him, he has started dating-which I find completely ridiculous. I will admit, however, that I feel a twinge of jealously thinking about him in bed w/someone else. I don't care if he dates and I know it's probably wrong but I still wish I could sleep with him without the emotional connection.
